I wish I saw the movie before the PO for this figure closed. I now want this badly. Kylo is the best thing in the new trilogy. He got to do what his granpa didn't:

I'm sure they were--but sometimes things can change during production (i.e. they may have swapped the cloak during filming, making whatever material HT received inaccurate). It's possible I'm mistaken, but to me it looked like a different cloak. We've seen figures be updated after initial announcement before, so if I'm right about the cloak it would be nice to see it updated.

I was wondering are the Star Wars Hot Toy clothes removable? Are they sewn onto the figures? or do they have velcro? I pre-ordered the Kylo Ren and Rey figures by Hot Toys from Sideshow. Obviously they will probably release updated figures for episode 9, with new clothes so I was wondering if the clothes can be removed to switch out outfits?


I absolutely LOVED Rey and Kylo in TLJ, which is why I pre-ordered both, I can't wait to see what happens in the final episode!

Broke down and got the TFA version. I needed a Kylo Ren and couldn’t wait for this one. I’ll either get this or, depending on the costume, the next one later down the line.

I don't think you will have too much trouble removing TLJ Rey's cloths, you'll probably have to cut the belt off though, if scavenger Rey is any indication. Generally though Hot Toys don't make it too easy to remove stuff. There is usually some degree of stitching or gluing that you have to get through. I could imagine Kylo's costume would be a real pain to remove.
