I wonder if you could have a full standard blue/grey batman figure if you removed all the armor bits. it just looks like the Justice League suit under all of the armor. Of course, the gauntlets and boots would be problematic still unless you painted them blue.

The video with the stuntman made things more confusing if anything. Was he saying that the Armored BVS Batman was his likeness? That’s 100% supposed to be Affleck, regardless of whether or not it looks like him. It even says so in the specs. This figure is a whole different story, they clearly made him look generic as possible as they don’t have the rights. It’s hilarious that they even used one of the Keaton mouthplates for the neutral expression. :lol

I'm trying to wrap my head around that too.

It's Affleck but it seems for whatever reason HT isn't mentioning it's him in his final appearance as Batman. Plus I think it's less of an hassle if they didn't pay for likeness rights and can just use his cgi scenes for the sculpt likeness. I really hope they fix it before release at the very least as a good bye to him in the cape and cowl.
They’re not mentioning him because they’re not using his likeness, so no point mentioning him.

I quickly pasted a Justice League mouth plate on the figure. It does make it better but also why is he thick? He is not that way in the movie. I also have the Mcfarlane figure and the same thing too muscular.

I think it's the extra armor that makes him look that thick brother

The only thing I liked so far is that little touch of blue on the boots 😂🤭

That is what he was saying.
Both the Hot Toys and the Sideshow PF 1/4 look like Richard Cetrone and were announced in early 2016 whereas the battle-damaged Hot Toys and the Prime 1 are 100% Affleck but I think they were both announced much later on.
Maybe it was just a timing issue. They couldn't get Afflecks people to sign off in time and they wanted to announce when the movie was imminent.

Wonder what happened to the glasses worn by the stuntman?

Anyway, here's my take on the new Ben Affleck's Batman. This is actually an old project, just changed the neck area and added blue to the skin.

Any chance you have a better-looking suit there too?

Hey Lucky, any chance you could do a run on an "Affleck" faceplate to fit the Hot Toys cowl/head as an option to the full cowl with glasses option ?

Given the look of this figure release, probably a lot of takers to want to fit an Affleck faceplate.

Cool. Looks way better as Affleck.
Who knows with the thiccness ?? Might be as simple as they 3D printed the armour slightly too large for the proto or the suit was slightly too large and they had to add a larger than normal fat-suit ??
Still a prototype, things could change. Given the amount of backlash on the likeness, maybe they will see other comments about how fat he is ??
