Fox has a regular base and this has the weird new tall one. Kind of annoying. I’ll wait for a RotS version.

Well this specific look is based on when he fought Maul and Savage.

This is actually a good mix between Ian McDiarmid and Palpatine in The Clone Wars. Definitely going to wait for a ROTS version though.

I'm assuming you're referring to the outfit. I just find it strange that they released a hybrid version of him rather than one from ROTS.

It’s a ”real world” interpretation of Sidious from The Clone Wars cartoon. Same as HT Anakin and Maul in this line.

Well this came out of nowhere, pretty damn cool though.

This episode was one of the best episodes in the series, Sideous toying with Maul and Savage while cackling the entire time.

Thought they would save this for ROTS though, but can't deny the power the CW line has, it brings in a lot of money.

To me it doesn’t really matter what it’s from. It’s Sidious. The sculpt looks cool and the outfit is good. I’ve wanted a to have a representation of him to go along with his later Palpatine look.

General Grievous is not that far behind folks, it is inevitable at this point. The proliferation of CW figs is just simply insurmountable..

This looks really good but I’m beginning to get a bit torn between these cartoon reworks of HT’s and Sideshow’s actual cartoon representations, even in spite of the quality issues of SS’s.

I honestly don't want to dive into TCW line as I got Maul and haven't been able to sell him off. Obi Wan is a potential one I'd get but other then him I don't want to push getting more. I rather get OT figures or at least AOTC line instead.

Yes, the HT CW one does look good, but I was hoping for an ROTS version in this outfit
(and yes, I know the Sideshow figure looks really dated here)
