Anyone here has the same thinking with me this Reval feels... cheap in hand ?
Surely it could have been better, but remember where we were a few years ago? Endless sequel trilogy figures, no clone wars, etc. I remember a year ago people saying that General Grievous was still many years away from being announced. We're in a golden age for HT SW collecting. Hopefully Hot Toys will put more effort into the next batch of EU figures.Anyone here has the same thinking with me this Reval feels... cheap in hand ?
Would love to see Bastila or Darth Malak next, maybe HK-47 too. Huge potential in the KOTOR line, if Hot Toys even decides to return there.Surely it could have been better, but remember where we were a few years ago? I'd love to see Bastila, Darth Nihilus, Malgus, Plagueis, Mara Jade, Kyle Kattarn - the list goes on. I wouldn't even buy all of them. But it would be cool to know that they were made.
They made HK for TVCSomebody's gotta make HK-47. Zod knows Hasbro never will.
Havent heard anything on my sideshow order either but does say Jan so not stressing yetSo I think this might have been brought up before, but I wanted to check. Is the reason I don't have my Revan but other outlets do is because I ordered the special edition with the coin? Anyone get theirs from sideshow who got the coin too?
How so? Besides the hood, this is the first I've heard this.Anyone here has the same thinking with me this Reval feels... cheap in hand ?
They make tons of characters in TVC that never get figures in The Black Series. They made HK for TVC
Yea, but you said "hasbro".They make tons of characters in TVC that never get figures in The Black Series.
I also wrote that at 3 AM. And they announced HK-87. I think before that there was just a leak that they were going to do an HK droid and people hoped it would be HK-47, because it's more interesting.Yea, but you said "hasbro".
Funny thing is - I'm pretty sure they announced HK47 for the black series line years ago and never came through.
That’s already been releasedWas that potential leak of HK-47 announced by Man of Collectables’ “Official source of legitimate information” @S. Griffin?
Seems like there’s a trend with top influencers to create traffic and buzz without solid proof of their findings.
Edit: SW TVC did announce that the White Robed Revan and HK-47 was planned to be released as a two pack series.
I think you have that the other way around. It’s actually fairly rare for something to be done in TVC and not the Black Series. They make tons of characters in TVC that never get figures in The Black Series.
I guess "fairly rare" is a relative term since Lobot, Nien Nunb, HK-47, Wooof, Kithaba, Nikto, Weequay, Klaatu, Brock Starsher, Vedain, Vizam, Zam Wesell, Logray, Paploo, Bom Vimdin, Nom Anor, Ratts Tyrell, Quinlan Vos, Shae Vizla, Lumat, Prune Face, Gonk droid, Death Star droid, FX-7, 2-1B, Zutton, AT-ST driver, Jocasta Nu, Chubbray, Stemzee, Kneesa, Ree-Yees, Yak Face, Bariss Offee, Mythrol, Bespin Security guard, Cloud Car pilot, 8D8, Velken Tezeri, Taym Dren-Garen, Tessek, and several other figures that I've left out because they were different looks of characters that have been made multiple times (like Leia in her Bespin Gown), some that will be exclusive to the Cantina Haslab and technically aren't out yet, and a a few more I've never heard of (yes, I looked at some checklists) have been made in TVC but not 6" Black Series. Anyway, that's over forty individual characters, which I consider a lot. If you don't think more than forty is a lot, that's fine.I think you have that the other way around. It’s actually fairly rare for something to be done in TVC and not the Black Series.
