1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

Do all the new HTs Indy hats come with that 'munch' mark outta the front. This is not the first pics. I have seen with it?

It's cause by the injection molding process. They probably just twist the hat off instead of cutting it.

How is that THAT Hot Toys sculpt seems to look just like Ford, yet every other I have seen only has a passing resemblance. That's ____ing weird! Maybe its the neck

This pic got me excited about my imminent receipt of the Hot Toys Indy and I'm looking forward to upgrading him with these items from MFisher and Kato.

If mine looks anything like this, I'll be happy!

Look forward to seeing pics taken with your pro camera! Just for kicks - you should take a pic of him in the same pose as the Raiders PF. I'd like to see that comparison.

HT DX Indy Head, shoes and hands
HT Saizo body with sculpted neck
Kato Jacket, pants and shirt
mfisher belt, holster, satchiel, whip & whip keeper
DiD US WWII enlisted trousers belt
Sideshow Indy revolver

Phenomenal, Commtech. Simply phenomenal.

Sadly this just highlights some of the shortcomings from HT's Indy. I'm okay with some of the more minor details being off like the belts and satchel, but the jacket and especially the shirt make a HUGE difference. Not to mention the different body. And I've always LOVED mfisher's whip. For $250, no one should have to still shell out another couple of hundred dollars to get it to this level.

What an awsome figure !! I'm sure it wasn't cheap but it looks like it was worth it! If I can get my Indy to look as haalf as good a this I'll be very happy.

So far I have a repainted SS head coming from Snyderman which I'll hopefully have by Saturday . I purchased a custom whip from jrzjoe on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/150647175319?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
and will get a narrow shoulder true type.

Thanks, fellow freaks. Yeah, it's taken a while to get this Indy to where I'm now really happy with it. Of course, thanks to Kato and mfisher for their wonderful work.

I want to mention that I applied the Pecard leather dressing to get it to look the right ROTLA color on the jacket. I borrowed the dressing from my friend Shortround after I saw how good his Indy jacket looked. It literally took me 5 minutes to apply it. It's this one right here:

Great custom and pix, Commtech! Once again, this reinforces to me that despite all the headsculpt uproar, the HT whip is the biggest problem of the release.

Not sure I want to post mine after seeing Commtech's ! That is Indy ! Very nice. Have you done anything to the paintwork at all ? It looks far different to what we've seen previously. I'd love one of Kato's shirts, it looks the business !
