Speaking of the TOD machete, here's a custom sword I sculpted for my old bash.

I'm torn on whether to use my second HT head to update this custom. Or save it for a map room version.

Giving my SS ROTA shirt a tea bath tonight , and am going to pry the neck off the SS Pro body tonight as well.

My Pro 1.2 is due to arrive in tomorrow so I'll be doing the conversion tomorrow night .

Is the 1.2 body an improvement ? Is SSC offering this as a recall/replacement?
I finally got disgusted enough last night and swapped it out for a $ 40 HT body (after having swapped it out for Belloch's body since I'm not displaying him)

The Pro 1.2 is a vast improvement. The joints are all tight and the body proportions are much much better. It also fits the clothes better. And the swap is super easy with zero mods.

The only thing to consider is putting a little foam (or anything to create a little tension) in the neck cavity when doing the swap in order to help with the floppy neck the original Pro suffered from. The hole at the bottom of the neck piece is the tiniest bit too big so that it doesn't hold the pose.

And no, no recalls. But the Pro bodies are relatively cheap (around $19 at Toy Anxiety) compared to TTs.

thanks,
How do you know which ones ar Pro 1.2 (for example on Toy Anxiety's website) ?
I really think SSC should have made the good faith effort of replacing those bodies. They were defective to the max

I'm nearly there with TOD Indy. Quite nice to have him standing on my desk actually! Always wanted one.

This is still not finished, with some temporary bits still in there and some more facial touch ups to do...
