thanks,
How do you know which ones ar Pro 1.2 (for example on Toy Anxiety's website) ?
I really think SSC should have made the good faith effort of replacing those bodies. They were defective to the max

TA has them clearly marked. But in general the newer GI Joes have the 1.2.

I personally think they should just retire the first Pro altogether because I object to its general proportions (it's really too short and squat for an average heroic male). Although some like how they look with the Cobra soldiers.

Great job, Rorywan! Very well done! Like I mentioned earlier, I really think a lighter beard (like you seem to have done) helps bring out the likeness.

It will state which body it is in the product discription. Yes they should have offered to replace those bodies . At least I only ahd to pay $25

That is harrison ford! Looks awesome, apart from the gloss and blood, how have u modded the sculpt? Stunning!

Just paint, one thing I did notice though was I think I figured out why all the jaws look so different. The inside of the jaw is hollow with padding to protect the neck. Because its not solid some might be warped a little. I heated the head with a hair dryer. And I think it helped. I squeezed it whilst it was hot. I can't be 100 % sure.
Apart from that, I tried to paint on Fords features a little more. I have another head coming so I'm gonna do a better one next.

Yep, I did that with mine when I had removed the PERS and it did seem to look just a wee bit better afterwards. I've been recommending people do it since.

Yes, Wor-gar, I was trying to remember who originally said they had tried that, it was you. I think it works to a degree. I think the sculpt issues/variance stem from the hollow head.

Wow!!!:clap
The sweat makes the figure look so real. I am contemplating not sending my second figure back to sideshow, so I can try a MOD. Not sure if it is wort ruining this figure in order to practice. Think I will send back and just buy a few sculpts to practice on first.

Wor-gar... thats exactly my intent for my eventual Raiders Indy custom... stay tuned... hope to have mine going here in the next week or so..

COOL! Can't wait. I could use some tips so I can try it myself at some point too.

Still debating if I should dirty up the SS Indy instead, or use SS Indy for the Map Room outfit and dirty up the HT.
