Guys working on my marine has been so much FUN!!!!

Just a few qns,
- How thin did you dremel the parts down til? I am having trouble getting the thighs high enough and I think I've dremeled them pretty thin!

- How do you secure the torso armor on the figure? Are they permanently on?

- Also are the joints flush and smooth?

- What type of neck joints did you use for the neck? I'm assuming its the short stubby connector. Just that the head seems to sit kinda low in the collar area.

- Bolt gun, chain sword and that hammer. Any other weapons in the works?

Thanks guys!!

I will do my best to help out mate... now

thighs... these are the biggest pain in my big buttocks!!!

I dremel ming so they are mega thin... but I am now adopting a new idea which is to cut down the back of the thigh... then put a plate on the back... I think with some studs it will be fine... I have not finished it but I hope this pic helps.

Now the abs armour.... I glue it as best I can... then fill it a bit if need be...

But to keep it secure I make a belt from Plasticard...and glue it on which holds everything in place... forever!

I done some plates on 1 of the ones i sold to hide the shoulder and waist joints i couldn't get to sit right. I used some plasticard with trimmed edges to make it more rounder, pre-drilled then just used very small screws to fix them on. Not only does it hide any gaps but it holds them together much better.

Head attachment depends on the body... I mainly use TT so the neck is a ball joint... so a 10mm placard tube is perfect..

For permanent fixed helms i used a normal TT long neck and hot glued it on so it still turns and moves but is firmly fixed.

Their really easy and quick to do. Plasticard heated and rounded a bit, flatten out some milliputt, place it on and trim it at an angle like pastry following the edge of the plasticard with the knife. Pop it in some water and smooth with your fingers and round the edge and your done :)

I just came upon a picture of a weapon I started years ago. Doesn't this come from the same game? I never got around to finishing it.
