Apparently all the time, some people are still waiting on Robocop that was due on August, The only reason I didn't order him was that the date would get in the way of the Snake figure and the Bat Armory and still robo hasn't ship on SSC.

Yeah I think I pre order him (Robo) in August so it worked out for me since he is just now being shipped but now I'm worried for future pre orders maybe I should just wait on them.

Are you guys going to post pics right away? If it the figure looks good in hand, I might have to order the regular version very soon.

From one Snake fan to another I hope he makes you happy seriously, Escape from New York fans deserve it! But I have no confidence in SS sadly. :(

I'm keeping hope on it's quality in check, so I won't be surprised if it's a bad figure. But since this may be the one and only time to get it, any EFNY fan should still buy it.

Can they change flexpays on the fly if a figure is delayed? How often does this happen?

It's not ucommon... usually Sideshow has the last payment due when the the figure is in-stock, or just before. So if there is a delay they push it back... I assume it's as a consideration to the buyer so they aren't paying all of the money, but not getting the figure yet. But, it would be a bit annoying to have a payment you expect to come out pushed back indefinitely.

But delays are pretty typical... there seem to be a lot of things that can and do go wrong. I just assume there will be at least a 1-3 month delay, and sometimes it's much longer.

Damn even Mezco updates fans on their production. And the jacket looks very accuarate.

Yep, I will not be shocked at all if there is something wrong... usually it's the sculpt being distorted or the paint work being awful. But, even with an issue like that I think he should still have enough positive's to make him worth the purchase. I mean just getting a custom outfit including the shirt jacket and pants would likely cost more than $170.

I remember trying to put together a custom 5 or so years ago and I ended abandoning the project as it was going to cost over $200 :lol

:goodpost:

As bad as this may turn out, it's still above any custom I've ever seen of it. I was literally in the process of buying the Spenser custom from SAB when the annoucement of this happened :lol

I read months ago that this happened to Nenny Dee, he had gave his word on buying a spencer custom from a guy for $400 or something and then this figures was announced. He still bought though.

Well, I wasn't that far along in negotiations. I think I only exchanged one message at that point, and then my inbox blew up when Snake was announced.

^^^ YES! That is an excellent figure. I'll likely buy two of this guys. I think they come out in January. Very cool.

If you think that figure is great, then I imagine you'd be pretty happy with SSC's figure, no matter how it turns out.
