not for a mego, they are supposed to look like chars in PJs this almost looks to good to be a Mego

I must be only person then whose excited for the neca mego style Snake. I think he's looking fantastic.

I like it quite a bit. Coming from the Mego age and understanding life before and after Mego, I can appreciate the value of this format. There's only so much detail you can achieve in this scale and I think they hit all the best points in making this. I have greater concerns on the 1/6th scale for likeness. Seeing how the Mego version achieved this is something Sideshow should sleepwalk through.

Well finallly two months to go. I received my Armory Batman and is cool but my hype was about this figures since it was supposed to release first. Now my hype is bigger since I wanna see what benefits we get from all the pushing back. So if SSC wants to be on hot toys league and charge $250 for a Luke with out accesories the better get this figure right....


PS. Im crazy to see that Beetlejuice and that Indy up close.

I wonder if Snake will be a test run, I mean this is what we should expect when x-wing luke comes out, maybe thats why the delay? I assume they will use the same factory for that figure, also Snake and Luke are sculpted by J Park, one can only hope that their price increases are worth it.

Definitely, considering this will probably be the only Snake ever officially produced.

Oh please the only SS figure I will own is this one if it turns out right, If Nathan Drake has proven us anything is that SS can't paint worth a ****! but before the light we must endure the darkness Snake needs a ton of light though.

I think SSC can paint but I personally think their production company was bad, I suspect that if they are breaking into more human figures, they maybe changed production companies.

I know people don't want to hear this but they put their name on those figure Nathan Drake, etc. Raiders Indy what have you. I can't go to the factory and blame them for **** paint apps I can only blame SS for not going the route that other companies do. I'm tired of blindly hoping SS will make a good figure, thats why I didn't PO this figure I'm waiting cause one thing I can rely on is that it will be a stinker. But this is a once in a life time chance to make this figure I just hope they know that and don't drop the ball.

Maybe you are right, it is sideshows fault and they should acknowledge their mistakes. But I kind of dont understand that if you didn't pre order this figure why you post on this thread saying bad things about it? I know its your opinion and is on topic, but most of us are hyped to get this one and we are all hoping that this figure at least turns decent or better than the drake figure. This is my first SSC figure and I hope that is not the last. I've seen all the other horrors they released before but IMO this figured getting pushed 3 times means that they know they screwed up with Drake and they are stepping up their QC.
