Shrugs... the $500+ custom doesn't look much better.
Agreed but I tend to think this about most customs in all honesty. I generally don't think most customs are that great for the price. Granted I realize the prices are higher due to lower production numbers but generally I won't spend big money on a custom.

Looks fine to me. Tailoring isn't spectacular, but Walt White isn't exactly the Joker, either. His wardrobe wasn't all that well-tailored on the show.

As for the shirt pattern ... close enough. The gun should be different, though. I don't think he ever even used one of those Berettas. Should be his .38 snub.

SnakeDoc

He never did, which is why I'm surprised. The only handgun he's ever owned was the .38 snub. All the other handguns that he ever handled in the entire series were taken from someone he killed, and they were all nickel plated (and none were Berettas)

Other missed opportunities are an accurate watch and cell phone. Both of which aren't easily found on the market

I guess that's really an eye of the beholder thing. There are very clear differences between the various customs figs & parts out there and Threezero's set. Some people will find those differences as insignificant or marginal, others will see them as leaps and bounds or night and day.

I had the Iminime Heisenberg, in hand, it's not that impressive. The hat doesn't even fit on the head properly. For 1/3 the price, this is great. Anyone who says otherwise needs to go outside and get some fresh air.

Is better than this but not by the margin people will have you believe. This is less than just a sculpt on it's own($500 shipped for a full fig) for a fully licensed figure. No problems here.

Oh is that what it is? I better open up some windows then

They didn't do a good job on their pork pie, but all you have to do is throw Entropy's hat and glasses on that set and it's a winner

Please do. Anyone who's not obsessed up their own *** should be able to know that $150 for a full figure in this market is fantastic let alone something as obscure as Walter. It's not as good as a $500 custom? No ****.

& I decided not to get at least the sculpt :slap

I'm pretty excited for this figure. The figure looks mint, the price is nice (nowadays), plus free shipping. Brilliant. But I know because I don't own the TG sculpt, that it might bug me a bit. I actually think a few collectors might try to hunt down a TG sculpt for their 3Zero figure.

The eyes are throwing the likeness off. Make the pupil smaller and I think it'll fix it.

Can't really complain though for $150.

As CP and maz have already said, he looks a little beefy. And the hat and glasses - regular and sun - don't look all that great but I'm sure there will be alternatives if they're unsatisfactory in-hand. Other than that, point me in the direction of the PO! :rock

You're my kinda people, sir. Somebody get this ****sucker a drink! :duff

:lol :hi5:

In regards to the head sculpt; the in-hand sculpt of Tryion released by the same company out-shined any pictures taken of him (from the company and others) by a lot. I own the Tyrion figure and the sculpt is amazing, pictures don't do it justice. These are also the first pictures of Walter so there might even be changes made from here to when it's released. I'd feel pretty confident about this turning out to be a fantastic figure.

This doesn't even come close to the MW/Trev sculpt & Yunsil 'Say My Name' clothing set.

I think it's pretty impressive... 1)it's cool to see a licensed 1/6 figure, 2) the price is fairly reasonable a 3) I think it's a very solid likeness. Is it 100% accurate, no but it's certainly a close enough :huh

I probably won't buy since it's not really my kind of collectible figure, but I think they did a great job here. Aside from the hands, those are pretty blocky looking and I'm guessing like Tyrion will not be improved in production :lol
