...should probably also give the head a touch up, but don't know when I'll get to that.

All of those headsculpt have a flaws but seems VTS click me the most as well. Just covers the neck with scarf and its looks good

slikkerias well done! that weathered VTS looks perfect. solidifies me liking the VTS best, even if i dont go that extra step it proves that if it was dusted more it would be spot on.
mine arrived, hard to see in the pics but out of box it does have nice brown weathering effect all over. maybe some more than others mine def is more happy bout that.

Just picked up the AF knife for mine... that is, as soon as I buy the VTS. I like the curve of the AF knife better. The VTS is the superior figure overall but the AF does have some parts that are worth considering.

Wonder why VTS, or AF for that matter, still hasn't announced a Furiosa? ...I mean it would sell better than most of their releases I'd think. A Immortan Joe would probably too. Maybe they just don't have the right bodies for them... Furiosa is tall and Joe 'fat'... I want both! And an interceptor! Hehe
Furiosa -- except for the mech arm -- seems fairly easy to bash.
Maybe we need someone with a 3D printer to make a "Furiosa sculpt + mech arm project" for us...? I wonder though if we'd end up with only 8 guys interested and 3 willing to pay...

Had another go at inverting the VTS leg brace and got it to fit better this time. Now all the straps are in the correct order with the piston facing downwards.

Will have to wait for daylight for that...if we see any daylight tomorrow, because it was like twilight for much of today!
Got the fig today. Put AF boots on, I might put a few more AF part on latter, might put him on a TT & cut the neck down a bit.

Really nice picture of the head sculpt.
So far I'm partial to the VTS sculpt, I just think the hair needs to be darker as the base, then made lighter with "dust and sun". Also the face needs as much weathering as the outfit. And more crusty blood. But it's Hardy Max.

So here's a photo of the pair, again with the flash on:
For the second VTS, with the AF leg brace, I'm wondering about making the other side of it. Just something simple - two jointed sections tucked under the straps.
The AF brace is longer, less accurate not only due to being one-sided but because it lacks the 'leather' straps. Being bulkier it's more Gibson-like. So creating the other side of it on the second, virtually unweathered, VTS would make a more prequel Fury Road Max.

Those both look great -- kind of night and day in terms of look. I still prefer the AF clothing -- at least in pictures -- so I'm curious how I'll feel once the VTS is in hand.
Is the VTS brace a little short? Seems like it should be higher on the thigh so the knee is right in the middle but then the bottom would be well above the boot.

Yes, I think it's quite a bit too short.
On this prop they have it set low down on the boot:
