I've decided I'm not doing anything to this and it's up for grabs if anyone wants it. Extras include Art figures jacket and pants, Art figures knife and shotgun. Pm me if interested.

Give it one more thought ;-) ...with weathering this one is quickly turning into one of my favorites.

Yes, I think it's quite a bit too short.

It does look like Max wears his brace a bit higher on his leg then many people are placing it. The bottom is mid-shin -- not down near his ankle...

Kuat, you have yours correctly placed.

And still it needs to be much longer as the top is way above his knee.

Nevertheless, the VTS is growing on me. Not as a Fury Road figure yet, but as a Tom Hardy Max.

I'd like to give him the heavy weathering treatment, but something non permanent like slik's.

I put the scarf on the second VTS as I think it helps conceal the longish neck. On that subject what they did with the scarf itself is curious. They stitched it like a neckerchief rather than leaving it as one long strand. So you have to flip the ends over his back rather than more easily wrap the whole thing around him.

The AF scarf is one long strand... but its been bedazzled with glitter.

:lol

That thing never left the box.

Maybe if Liberace had played the part...

I really think the VTS scarf is well thought out as the neck scarf. Easy to pose and looks natural no matter what you do with it. I'm using two of the AF scarfs to cover the head and neck of my intro Max though. They are great for that and the VTS one wouldn't have worked in that setting.

I think you'll fall in love with it when you do! I did. Also I'm more a fan of non permanent weathering as I'm not touching the figures much when posed and real dust looks more natural than paint. And there's a way back if you regret or want to sell it.

Yeah sorry to say they look weird. Not trying to bash your figure but I think there could be a better pair. Or at least they look big in my eyes.

what does everyone think, are the terminator boots too big??

Yes. Sorry those boots are too big for any figure. Sorry.
The problem with those boots is that they were made too high to make Arnold seem taller. But it made the boots look clunky and unnatural. Besides they are biker boots. You will be able to get the AF crazy racer boots dirt cheap - they would fit him well.

That's the only best alternative if you don't want to custom make a pair. His boots are pretty good.

There is another good option for a head sculpt for max I will get one. It's the max sculpt by Rocco. 14344909_1181996208541940_5950870143511598376_n.jpg

It'd be like $72 plus $7 shipping. With or without neck. He even made one in 1/4th scale. You would have to get it painted however.
