It always struck me as a brown color and material that could look orange depending on the color tint of the image. Even the GG bust looks like a brown with a hint of orange to it.

I think we talked about this in the Greedo Life Size bust thread, but as far as I can tell the vest is supposed to be brown. It is brown on the Sideshow bust and the Gentle Giant mini-bust, and appears to be in the movie, from what I can see. I too have it in my head that it should be orange, but I'm not sure why. The only thing I can find in a quick search that actually has it orange is the Kubrick figure. The vintage figure doesn't even have a vest at all.

Anyway, I was sort of impressed that the environment included chairs as well as the table, but they're not particularly accurate and could've been done in plastic for a fraction of the price with no difference in appearance. I think I'll probably get the regular edition of this down the road.

That pic looks like a rusty orange to me, Sean.

It was a rusty orange to me in the movie when I was a kid.

It will always be a rusty orange to me.

Brown? Pooey.

+1 on orange, not bright by any means but orange none the less. one thing i do notice in the reference books i own is about half of the pictures make it look like there are no pockets.

That's because the vest used for close-up shots didn't:
Maybe you guys are getting it mixed up with Ponda Boba's coat? The vintage figure didn't have a vest and the closest thing to orange is the POTF Greedo. Though in some of the close-up shots, there's a vest without pockets that looks orange:

I have only recently started collecting Sideshow SW stuff, I've been pondering if the exclusive is worth it at all. Hmmm... I can see why a lot of people seem to think it's not, the poster isn't as great as another accessory...

Welcome to the boards. I think it depends on the size, I am gonna assume it is a 1/6 poster in which case I don't think it is worth it. Now if it was a 1:1 poster that would be a little different story.

Seriously though, do you see brown on that bust above? I'm always curious if people see the world the way I do. :D

Yes, to me it looks more like a brown with a tint of orange too it, but it looks closer to a brown tone than an orange tone to me.

They say the exclusive comes with a Wanted poster oh Han.
I wonder if you have to order both Greedo and the Cantina or just Greedo to get the poster?
:chew

Greedo comes with the poster, you have to order the Ex. Greedo to get it, you don't have to buy the environment, but if you get regular Greedo and the environment you won't get the poster.

When is the preorder? I won't be at my desk tomorrow until the afternoon. May have to get my roomie to order it for me. :banghead

I'll be at a computer at PPO time, but the internet connection at my job is awful. I'll be lucky to get through.

Really digging the way Greedo turned out, so hopefully I can snag him without too much trouble.

I like the way SS designed the table and chairs. I was afraid it was going to be one big clunky piece. Breaking it into three separate pieces allows for a much cleaner look and lets those who design their own cantina (like Dorgmal) to use the pieces within their projects as well.
