I have started on the mould for the side bins as scratch building them would drive me even more mad!! As I had to heat the corners to get the plasticard to bend round it to get those lovery curves to match Barryos build....

I started to poor the first batch of silicon and so far so good. BUT CHUUUFFFF me its taking so much silicon... at one point I thouht that I had a hole in the bottom of the mould and it must be leaking hahaha... ordered more silicon and fingers crossed we should hae the first bin by the weekend.

i knew these were going to be a pain.............less of a pain than one at a timing but still a pain.....

is the space between the inside of the pod and the block its resting on going to need that much work/sanding or am i not seeing something right? granted i know nothing of casting.....

WOW that`s some piece to cast there BUT those on the transporter will truely help (along with all the hard work already put in) make this vehicle the bee`s knee`s.

The bottom will need a wee sand but its a start... I hope to do at least one a day resin permitting! Lots of cussing and cursing but we are getting there mate
