If you have any of the Sandtroopers, the Dewback is absolutely worth it.
That's pretty much it. Without a couple Sandies it would seem a bit out of place.

The Dewback was the first collectable I ever purchased, and the first 1/6th anything. It started something.....i've been making a custom moisture vaporator for a couple months now. Almost done, but it's all because of the dewy.

Lacking the funds right now but having all 4 sandies at home makes this beast a must buy. Main target for 2013.

OK I've got a question.
It's about the Sandtroopers,I know a bit off topic.
How do you get the back packs to stay on?
Those little straps they have are a pain in the butt!
Also the little pouch, where does that connect?

No, unfortunately.

I had to replace a backpack for the sand trooper I took to Egypt. It was the first one, so no manets but he new backpack had it. A couple rare earth magnets on he inside of the rear armor, and all was good!

I ended up screwing mine on with tiny screws, from the back of the armour into the pack. Sounds drastic but is perfect for them

I tried the velcro route, it looks bad as the shape of back armour slotting into the backpack wasn't facilitated by it, could just see a patch of velcro between the 2.

For the ones without the magnets, they were constantly infuriating and flopping about, then 1 of the straps broke on one of the backpacks so I just decided to screw them on, I knew I'd always keep their packs on so the screw hole in the back armour was fine by me. Interested to see if magnet tape would be strong enough too, always looked interesting but never needed it enough to buy a roll

I see.
Even with just the straps alone, it doesn't seem to be a very good solution. Good thing SSC realized this and released the latest Sandie with the magnet.

I tried using two magnets for the squad leaders pack, but I used magnets that were too strong and the glue wouldn't hold when I tried to remove the back pack. If you use magnets, use small ones that just barely do the job.

Very good point.
Those self-adhesive magnet tapes should do the job.
