The joints are very stiff. There is so many joint-points on his legs that its takes some time to get every joint posed correctly -- especially with those chicken legs. You have to pose the feet, ankle (there are two points), the chicken knee, the regular knee and the hip joint. You can't always find the sweet spot between clicking points.

I know for a fact that you will want to repaint the eye area, so just plan on it, Rory. :) In truth, that pink has to go and the dark red that's there could use some lightening up.

Thanks for detailed reports man. Yeah, I think a bit of work on this will make it stellar. Great pics!

:rock

Great pics. Yeah those eyes. When do we get to see the hunch and cape with maybe a lightsaber or two. Looks like there is "extra effort" with this bad boy!! You getting tired man?

Grievous is like a deli menu -- there's just too many options.

Pictures coming, lightsabers, 4 arms... all that good stuff.

I tried my neck fix and it works -- he's able to put his head much further back now. One problem: the wieght of the head itself just won't hold its place. It wants to fall forward. May need to 'affix' it somehow -- bluetac or tie it off with a white thread. In any event, his head has way more articulation now. Pics coming to explain.

Just looked at the tracking and he's coming a day early, and Wolverine is also coming tomorrow too!

Looking forward to your new pics Wor-Gar.

See the thing is I have no other figures this year as I only collect Star Wars and this is the only one I would like.

I was waiting on my local supplier to get me a price and just as he did the EX went on waitlist...so here I am hoping for a card cancellation or something like that to befall a fellow collector.
It actually happens a lot. Some people change their minds, or maybe cancel a double they had ordered. I was about a day late of ordering the EX w/ the payment option when it wait listed. Good luck to us both!

I got to say, last night I was a little underwhelmed by this figure (if you could tell) but this morning, this guy absolutely ROCKS. He's tons-'O-fun to play with.

OK, here's way too many pictures, hope they answer some of your questions (PS cape look likely coming tomorrow, too much fun without it right now)...

Sorry to bump my own pictures onto the previous page. Go look if you missed them, lots to load back there.

Anyway, here's the NECK MOD for anyone who wants to try it. See below, by heating (hair dryer) and slightly raising the back plate so the collar can slide passed it, this allows the head to look up higher.

He doesn't have to look up when he's hunched, just straight ahead, which this mod allows.

Here's a picture of his relative height when his legs are in crouch position -- he's not so big when legs are chickened up:

Looks great man... and totally see what you're saying about the pink around the eyes, wtf?!? :lol At least it's a very easy fix, but sometimes you have to wonder what they're thinking :huh

Beautiful pics Wor-Gar! Thanks for posting! Can't wait to get my hands on him! he is going to look so awesome with my droids!

Proportionally he looks good, but I think that is the reason why he looks off!! Should his head not be smaller than his body or vice versa. Im not feeling Grievous. I am seeing more of a Grievous Action figure/toy (This has nothing against your pictures). When I see images like below I instantly feel Grievous. And his legs don't need to be bent so much.https://www.rebelscum.com/kotobukiya/General-Grievous-ARTFX-Plus-Statue-Kotobukiya/General-Grievous-ARTFX-Plus-Statue-Kotobukiya-007.jpg

I'll try some later without the crouched legs. He'll definitely be very tall like the picture you attached. But that's the beauty here: there's so many ways to pose him.

And in hand the head actually looks smaller to me. In fact I was wondering if the head isn't too small, until I checked ref.

Yea this is gonna get a lot of attention from me, I can tell already he looks fun to ''play'' with. thanks again Wor gar for the latest pics, very nice poses too. The pink def. needs to go though, I think that's the only thing that I see that's wrong with it in my opinion.

THANK YOU Wor-Gar....

The pics are fantastic and greatly appreciated....you're helping make my week-long wait a little less painful....

The figure looks simply AWESOME.

Any advice or things to be aware of un-boxing him?

And....more pictures are most welcome :)
