Lol, had a feeling it was OMG soon! :p Looking forward to it, Opti! To be truthful, it's better to take as much time as needed. No rush, at this point, and we don't want any more broken thumbs! *looks at TF.N*

I am working on the video now as we speak however, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I can't really show off too many pictures yet though (sadly i'm restricted to a degree by what SSC lets me show off before i'm "officially" allowed to)

I was told i can show off just about anything and even have my review up by Friday...but i have so much other stuff that i'm obligated to get done first, Friday is just too soon for me. Monday is the best i can get it up by though. Friday though, i can provide whatever pictures you might want to see.

Really the main thing I'm interested in is your impressions of his articulation, sturdiness of joints, whether he can stand unsupported, etc. Just overall impressions like that would be great. My last payment was booted back to March 5th, so it'll be a while until he's in-hand for me.

My impression was right from opening the package, it was clear they put a lot of care into this figure. The figure is wrapped around foam to protect it during shipping and keep it safe in the box. That impressed me right off the bat. Articulation is really nice. It uses some really interesting joints, especially in the "elbow" area to achieve rotation. It's not a full 360 degree of rotation, but it's good enough i feel. The joints are very sturdy. Almost too sturdy. SSC told me directly that the joints were intentionally tightened due to the large size of the figure and skeletal nature of him. They WILL require caution when you first get them moving. But once they're broken in, they work perfectly fine. He can stand unsupported, but if you're going to have him bent over or something, you will need to be creative with the joints. That just is a normal thing i feel, if you bend him all the way forward, it'll put all his weight forward and he'll topple over. The stand though is nice as the cradle bit does articulate to help you get a good pose with him and have him be supported fairly well.

I really feel that this is SSCs crown jewel to date. The amount of detail as i said, put into this figure is really staggering and shows that they really wanted to make a "flagship" sort of product. To me, this figure really is that damn good.

Awesome, really glad to read that (just the kind of first impression I was hoping for). Other thing I was a bit concerned about, given everything I've read about broken hand and foot pegs with other figures, is how confident you feel switching out the arms from two to four? No matter what, I know we'll have to be careful with the figure, but do you feel they'll withstand swap-outs or would you configure it how you like it and then sort of leave it alone? Thanks for the info, Opti!

My girlfriend will be getting this for me for my birthday, but my birthday is not until middle of March. It is going to be torturous knowing she has it at her house and I can't have it....especially when I will be seeing all the wonderful reviews and videos....being stoked for this figure!

Sabers are looking like the old, tapered, style. Cannot wait to get this in-hand and mess around with the articulation. Great pose, Optil!

I absolutely suck at posing lol so thank you for the compliment :)

Sabers look more like the one coming with Dx Vader to me. Just a bit longer it seems.

How do you feel about the figures cape? does it have any chance of bleeding and staining the marbled armor parts like the red fabric stains on the Hottoys avengers thor? Sofar that's just my concern about this and I'm really looking forward on the review!
