I just dug up the post with the video... at the 46sec mark they show the articulation and the shoulders (at least then) rotated all the way around. Bummer that was dropped :huh

Based upon the video Sideshow released he looks extremely poseable. They stated that they wanted him to move more like the IG droids from the Clone Wars cartoon. I'll see if I can dig up the video.

EDIT: Found it...46 seconds into it you can see just how much you can pose him.

Now that Bossk is in the works I'm gonna have to commit to the bounty hunter line.

Passed on the EX WL so looks like its the regular version for me. Its gonna be so awesome to have a shelf littered with all the ESB Bounty hunters and the rumoured ESB Vader!

Oooooooookay... not sure what I did wrong on those photos, but thanks to Flosi for the fix!

As for those shoulders, I gave them a good hard tug. The left shoulder is firmly stuck in place. The right shoulder budged slightly until I'd managed to turn it about 45 degrees. So yeah, the articulation is there, but the paint or the tight plastic is making it tough to move.

I gotta stop saying this thing can't do stuff because it's making a liar out of me :lol

Maybe hit it with a hairdryer and loosen up those joints?

EDIT: Oh wait...you're at work still aren't you? Probably don't have a hairdryer laying around...:slap or do you? :lol

Nope, no hairdryer. But if I'm gonna hit it with something, I might as well just use a hammer or some other blunt instrument.

Oh, hang on a second... that's not what you meant, was it? ;)

God no..don't hit it with a hammer. :horror:horror I bet it just needs to be warmed up and loosened a bit. "That's what she said..."

I just got my IG-88 and took him out of the packaging. He is much larger in person in my house than he seemed at SDCC. He's easily the height and better than ANH Vader and the upcoming Grievous. He looks great and is very poseable, except...

My shoulder sockets DO NOT ROTATE either. They are also attache slightly uneven which suggests they should move, but they don't budge a bit.

Also the LEDs in the head don't line up to illuminate the proper front eye well. They are lined up better to lit up the rear one.:slap

Okay, nevermind! I got one shoulder to move, but damn did I think it was going to break first with all the force it took to crack it loose. Now for the next one.

If I have one complaint it's the neck joint. It's far from screen-accurate and the bottom of the head could probably stand to have been slightly more tapered. Plus, you can see the neck joint through the "mouth" holes. Just me being nitpicky.

The neck joint should be visible through the mouth holes as seen in this on-set pic. Agreed on the taper and overall appearance though.

In the SSC pics, I almost suspected the neck was telescopic, but obviously not.

Eyes don't move

But considering my track record so far in this thread, they probably rotate, swivel, slide, and tap dance.

Either way, I'm not pulling any harder on 'em to find out!

And I thought the same thing about the head - I gave it a good hard tug and it didn't move, so I'm assuming what we get is what we see.
