Invictus Sol
No Life in the Void
Good catch, Firefly. Shows as still in stock, too. Really would like to get it, but can't justify going doubles on old' IG just for the vibro axe. Congrats to those that are able to take advantage of this, though!
Yup, hairdryer, 1 minute on each shoulder. Still took a bit of force, but after a couple nervous seconds they popped loose. They are still tight but move 360 with minimal effort. Better tight than loose I always say
Also, I own a hairdryer to style by ball hair, if you must know.
Sweet, I gotta get the other shoulder going on mine.
Do you use any product in your ball hair? I've been growing mine out for the last couple of years and I finally have a pair of long braids hanging down on either side of my little Flosi. It makes for quite a lovely presentation when I'm whipping it out for the wife or old men in line at the ATM. They love it.
So I received my Ex. IG88 on Friday. It came in a big cardboard box, not the std IG88 box. The figure's box was in great condition, but when I opened it, the plastics that hold the figure and accessories had either cat or dog hair all over them.
IG's inner shoulder joints had a lot of paint wear - has anyone here experienced any paint rub from moving his arms around?
His right knee joint has a crack on each side. I called SSC and emailed them some pics. Waiting to see what they tell me.
So this was definitely a return item...very disappointing...I mean, if I'm charged that much for a figure, I could at least get one that has been untouched or damaged.
Wow, that's really disappointing. Hard to believe Sideshow could inspect that figure and assume it's OK for resale. I was wondering about this the other day when the EX came back in stock out of nowhere. Also makes me think I'll skip trying to articulate his shoulders if there's a good chance that I'll wreck the paint. Really he looks fine staying in kind of a neutral position, anyway. Lastly, doesn't surprise me about the knees. I wasn't happy with the amount of force it takes to extend and retract his legs (at least the few times I did it) so I could see how someone using just a bit more force than necessary could crack the plastic. So I received my Ex.
