1/6th Scale IG-88 Figure LINK IN 1ST POST!

Finally got my IG-88 shoulders to work! !
But I'm so pissed the the rifle peg broke inside the peg-hole in the arm!!! I guess the rifle is too heavy for the figure... ...
I was thinking about cutting a nail and gluing it to the rifle as a more durable peg...
Any suggestions?

Stand rifle butt on ground and have IG hold it that way.

Otherwise, your nail idea sounds good. Or a dab of blu-tac.

Had same issue with the peg in the rifle, but caught it before it snapped off all together. Just have him hold it at his side

Me too, sans the birthday part.

I was high off Boba Fett, so I picked this guy up. . . but IG-88 has some issues, that I'm now reviewing in this thread.

Stuck shoulders, rifle is too heavy. . . le sigh. TO THE TOOLBOX!!!

Yeah, I had the shoulder problem, but I did the hair dryer trick and they're working fine now. The left one was a real pain though. It took me about 20 minutes to get it working. Overall I love the figure. My only complaint is that the ball joint part of his left shoulder is loose, but he can hold the pose I want him in, so it's all good.

Well, Sideshow said to use a towel to hold the shoulder, and rotate. That worked for one. The other was stuck. So, I used my handy blowdryer on for about 7 minutes until it overheated and shut off. . . that didn't work either.

Stuck it in the freezer for about 20 minutes, and that got it to crack free. Haha, once I stopped buying Toy Biz figs, I never thought I'd have to use the freezer trick again. Those damn paint washes.

Well, got some nice paint scrapes on the arms, and gouges on the shoulders, but at least it's functional now.

I have him in a pose that doesn't require the right shoulder to move, so I haven't bothered with it yet.

Unless we're talking about ROTJ Boba, in which case all his cool is negated by his girly scream.

Red + green + yellow + girly scream < Bossk yellow
