I see all the Geonosis BD's have heads. That's a big no-no Sideshow. Reusing Kit Fisto's exclusive accessory like that. :nono

Well, so long as the Geonosis droids heads aren't solid metal paperweights with no articulation, I think Sideshow is still technically safe on their rule of not reusing accessories. :lol Seriously, if you dropped the Kit Fisto BD head on your foot, you could break a toe! The thought of that head on a light, plastic BD body makes the battle droids seems sillier than they already are - heads drooping forward, heads lolling back, until they all just fall over from being to darned top-heavy. Who needs jedi and clones to defeat them?

Greivous: "Keep your focus on the enemy!"

BD #1: "I can't seem to keep my head up, sir. I must need to recharge."

BD #2: "Looking up like this all the time is becoming a real pain in the neck."

Greivous: "Gaaaaaahhh!"

:wink1:

I wonder if the commander will be able to be displayed as OOM-9 was, without the pack, but with antennae.

I'm pretty sure Sideshow will have the small antenna replace the backpack by the time they're released. My guess is they just have these prototypes with backpacks for the con, I doubt very much that Sideshow would overlook the fact the commanders just have the small antenna attachments. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain they'll fix it for release.

If you thought Sideshow milked the clones for everything they were worth..wait till you see these..a new color variation every month for the next two years... lol At least they are at a good price point...i applaud that.

I could see getting a few more of these down the line if they start dropping in price on the secondary market. I have a feeling Sideshow will produce the hell out of these and eventually a lot of them will sell for below retail... at least that's the troop-builder in me's hope :lol

You're probably right, but I'm still glad I ordered the exclusive Infantry BDs.

Same here... I bought that since its an exclusive and I'm thrilled with a price of $60 a piece :rock But just for future ones I'll look for good deals.

A buddy of mine said he noted first hand that the blasters can be attached to the packs. I am not seeing that in any of the pics. Did any of you freaks notice this?

Yeah I haven't seen that in any of the pics either. I hope it's true, but I think Sideshow would have shown it off, if not at the con than at least in the website pics.

That is what my buddy was saying. He went to the con and saw them in person and he told me some of the blasters were on the packs. But it seems to me that would require changing the displays (which is possible, I guess). So I am wondering if they changed it or if there were figures not pictured.

A hacked-up Battle Droid would be pretty cool... I kind of figured we'd get pieces of ones over the years after Sideshow released Kit Fisto with the head.

I plan on hacking up some of my Hasbros. It actually would be cool if for every two pack the exclusive was an extra hacked off part.

I was thinking about doing that with some Hasbro droids... my guess is they will be even cheaper to get now that Sideshow will be making a boatload of them.
