Help Support Collector Freaks Forum:
I've been excited about this figure since I found out that Sideshow got the SW license
, but of course I thought we would see him alot sooner than this
. Oh well, as long as I get a Sideshow version, I'm a happy camper. I'm sure he will be more than worth the wait. I have both of the Medicom versions as well as some others but this will be the crown jewel of my collection. At least until I hear that HT will be making a DX version

I just received an email that said "Chances are slim for those on the Exclusive Wait List", I'd have received one of those before...found it a bit interesting.
As for the point above, I absolutely agree. Fett looks this good because of the progression in SSC's work and stuff like this makes me wish that they actually would go back and remake some of their older figures which just aren't on par anymore.

Although I agree that the older offering from Sidehow do seem to be a little dated, now, I would not want to see Sidehow revisit any of them yet. There are too many unreleased characters and Sideshow's releases are too slow.
I would be OK with them re-doing them later on, but I think it stands to reason that 5-7 yeears from now, we may be saying the same thing about current releases. So it would be a waste to re-do any of the older figures now with so few charaters released so far...in relation to the amount of time that has passed.

That's why I think the relationship they have with Hot Toys is a win-win. Hot Toys can re-release iconic characters that desperately need an update. Sideshow can keep cranking out newer monsters, aliens, and armored characters, and everyone is happy!

WHERE'S the GENERAL GREAVOUS i thought 2nd quarter? THEN bring on VADER preorder 4th quarter I'm thinking for him ...This year is INSANE with amount of WINNING FIGURE'S !!! feels like I went to casino and lost all my money in 1st hour ..with all the preorders this year and only JANUARY.......sideshow hot toy's you can wait for our wallet's to get out of hospital before attacking us again please..I'LL BE lucky if BOB A FEET get's home safely.....
