1/6th Scale Sideshow Boba Fett Figure

I always said SS had it's work cut out for them with the awesomeness of the medi Fetts.

And so far it looks like they've matched it. And then with the weathering and the base just puts it over the top.

Exactly. I think Medi's ROTJ Fett is much nicer than their ESB Fett though. I wasn't going to get SS's at first but seeing the base and how nice the paint apps look I'll be picking this one up.

Love my medis but fett is one I probably wil still buy. But agreed with the previous that it's getting too expensive and Im having to really think about buying stuff. At even 50£ you think on go on then... But 100£ plus !

Yeah, the new Medi Fett is another another field than with their ESB version.

Really? I've been looking at a lot of images from ESB the last view days, and I couldn't find any in which Fett has the same funny looking build or bagginess to the costume that the SS one seems to have. He looks pretty slender in both films in fact.

I still think that the ultimate Boba Fett will only be available to people prepared to also order a more realistic body so they can customize it. Of course it's early days yet, we may well see it in some more realistic poses, or at least futzed a bit more. Certainly the detail, paint apps, and the brilliant base bode well. But this still doesn't work as an overall package for me. You don't look at it and think "Woah, this guy just walked off the screen", you think "Hey, nice Boba Fett doll".

You might be right, I haven't watched the movies in quite a while... at any rate, stocky or not, I kinda like the bagginess of the pants, makes them hang a bit better IMO.

This Fett looks to have a faux leather pouch belt every other one has been sculpted vinyl.Now if his journeyman protector sash is soft goods and not sculpted, this is a must have.

Any chance he'll have a removable head for a "revealed portrait" head? I'm sure Jango will have one whenever they release him, so it'd be nice if Boba had one as well.
