1/6th Scale Sideshow Hoth Luke Skywalker (Echo Base)

If the labels didn't say Sideshow and these were surprise HT reveals I would have totally believed it. As far as I'm concerned I'm looking at a couple of MMS figures right there and from ESB to boot. I got exactly what I wanted out of this SDCC.

Unfortunately we have months to wait to see what we'll get in the box.

These are definitely impressive, but SS needs to step it up with the footwear and start making fabric boots, molded boots have got to go.

You made a comment about how it looks ok now, implying that the production figure could be bad. So I asked you how you felt about the production figure of Obi. Seeing how I think its a step up and a reason to be hopeful that these may turn out nice I was curious about how you felt about it. That's all.

I actually didn't like the SSC Ep1 Ewan at all from the first pics, up to the in hand shots.

They'll get my money when I like their work - & want the character, so the ball's in their court.

They'll get my money when I like their work - & want the character, so the ball's in their court.

I'd agree on the Padawan... I got swept up and ordered it against my better judgment. Having said that as far as paint work it's definitely some of the best work they've done on a human sculpt and I'm optimistic that Han and Luke will be better for it.

I don't see a need. It's not like their Luke/Han Stormies saved any money because they were packaged together.

Besides, I'm only after Han. Luke can go to hell!

I do think SSC are improving - don't get me wrong.

Some of the G.I Joe stuff is great, as are some of the clone heads too.

HT ain't infallible though, & I'm not a lemming for them either.

I haven't seen that one in person, but hard to disagree from photos. They're still not quite as nice as HT, but damn close. And now we just need a few years of consistency on that point so we can all relax a bit

There really shouldn't be that long a wait. I can understand Grievous because they were still trying to work some major logistics out. But these are just human figures on the pro.

There's not excuse for there not to be a PO for Han and Luke this year!
