This figure is awesome. I hated I missed out on EX but this is a striking figure. Hope my Han waitlist converts now.

Starting a new project. Casting the Sandtrooper stand top since the snowtrooper will be exactly the same. Easy enough swap.

I would like to replace the body of the Luke Skywalker Hoth figure from Sideshow to make it more height appropriate. Does anyone know if the Hot Toys Luke ANH body will work? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Easiest one is the Han Solo Hoth body--Prometheus 1.0. It's a little bit shorter and all the pegs will fit. Pretty sure Sideshow designed it to be on that body. Vest will close more easily.

Hoth Luke needed a lot of upgrading but looks great once you do.

I removed all the snaps on the vest and got these Velcro dots so it would close flatter. I just glued the rank badge to the outside of the pocket.

The other 3 dot badge which I thought was the rank badge stayed put.

I finally got around to updating my SS Luke Skywalker Hoth figure. It always bothered me that it wasn't the correct height so I switched out the bodies. I used a HT Luke Skywalker ANH body from the knees on up, and from the knees on down I used the DX09. I also used JediJim's tip and replaced the snaps on the vest with velcro. I glued the rank badge to the outside like many of you have. And, finally I used TK0083's pose.
