1/6th Scale Sideshow Hoth Luke Skywalker (Echo Base)

There is more Luke in this sculpt (to me) than the non-BD HT Bespin Luke. The top right pic of non-hat sculpt looks great.

Yup, definitely better than the pictures of Han we saw earlier today. I hope Da Bomb Show gets a Han in to review--or will they, could just show how crappy it really is.

I think Luke looks pretty damned good, but I would definitely like to see some closeups and detail of the exclusive portrait. I'm planning on displaying him upside down in full car accident injury mode.

Ugh. This is kind of, sort of, just about, okay. The non hatted HS at least has the hair the right shape, even if the hair itself is sculpted too shallow. But the face sculpts on both are bland as hell, and only look like Hamill if you squint at them.

But, you know, is there any point? I just don't see why SSC are still making 1/6 figures when other companies - ALL other companies except Medicom - do it better.

Wow! I was so disappointed with Han that I cancelled him but I love this new Luke figure. He doesn't need Han or any other figures either. Just him on a Tauntaun is a totally sweet Empire diorama. Looks like I'll keep my EX preorder and pick up his ride as well.

Really? I know it's early and all we have is a video, but I think it's one of the best Lukes we've gotten. I still like the BD HT Luke a bit more, but in terms of a "regular" Luke, I think the likeness is there.

Due to these SSC Luke pics being pulled from a Youtube video, it's a little hard to see how well the fine facial sculpt detail looks, but overall it's looking pretty good so far, and better than the proto (which had a slight Corky resemblance to it.)

Dude, what was the last figure you actually liked?

Thanks for asking me in a nice way! Last human figure I liked was Bespin Luke (I only got it recently). I love this outfit, so I want it to work.

I just don't see much of Luke in this one, but maybe more good in hand pics will say different.
