this bad boy :)wink1:) has some serious detail.

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

Looks good but I see too many small parts that could easily get broken on that polystone.

This and Luke is what I am looking forward to the most from this SDCC. Really thinking of going all out and doing a dio for this.

If you're not using a cell phone, here's a proper link (embedded on the forum):

At the very least it looks like the video confirms you'll have to install the head when you open the box. :) But not how many heads are packed in, nor what year this might be released.

Wow this looks incredible.... I just hope the mass produced painters aren't the same ones that did SS Indy......This looks cooler then the one in George Mucas's office !!!!!!!!!!

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

This could turn out better than the dewback. Hopefully the factory paint can do a good job since this looks like it has a lot more detail to it.

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

Looks awesome! Can't wait til this goes up for order.

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

What are you guys thinking on price for the TT?

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

No doubt, $300, same as Dewback - if not more (fingers crossed it's not).

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

350-365............:dunno

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

Plus the Luke figure ($150):gah:

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

I'd expect the figure to cost more than $150, given the current pricing trend of clones and other figures like Fett.

They're having a hard time clearing out Dewbacks at $275, so I don't know they can really go to the upper 300's for this thing.

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

More than Obi Wan you think huh.

Re: 1/6th Scale Sideshow TaunTaun (in development)

How old is the ObiWan release? I'm just making guesses based on the pricing of the clones and Fett ($175), neither of which has a costume nor sculpt that's as intricate nor difficult to paint. Nor are they as iconic... I'd love to see it for under $150 with the quality of a $250 figure though. The new Vader is $250, I won't soon forget that. ;)
