I don't think I'd want his eyes looking wonked out all the time. PERS gives you the option of having wonked out eyes looking in different directions, but never the option of not looking wonked out.

Oh, I agree! I was just kidding (somewhat) about the PERS. I wouldn't want it on Yoda, either. The "wonked" eyes were distracting, though, particularly in that final scene:

"There... is... a..nother... Sky...walk...er..."

I figured as much. Couldn't resist fully articulating your joke though. The more PERS I see, the more I appreciate painted eyes.

argh you guys crack me up! :lol

No, what I mean, is that Yoda himself COULD benefit from the PERS eyes, since his own eyes werent really what you would consider real, and would lend to the handpuppet effect IMO.

On a side note, I really REALLY hope Sideshows yoda will be able to pose like this:

also, this pic makes me realise Sideshow REALLY needs to work a little on Yoda's chin.

I'd be all for a PERS Yoda. The Hot Toys version of PERS has the eyes attached to each other so they always look in the same direction!

Oh, and a less pronounced chin would be fine, too.

What bothers me with PERS is how the edges of the eyes look. It looks like a separate piece, and eyeballs don't look that way. Even glass eyes. I'm sure they're fun to play with though.

I'm a little embarassed to say I'd sign a petition for a smaller chin. I would not, however, go so far as to start a thread for it. I think it should be obvious to them. That chin is way too much.

First time I've ever won a contest (other than getting a T-shirt one time) from SSC and Yoda being my all-time favorite character really makes it awesome!
