Best Yoda thus far perhaps, but for the price and it being 2011, it needs to be perfect. It's YODA! Somethin' ain't right.
Hot Toys has the Star Wars license yes,no? I wonder if they'll make their own version? Just as they did Indy.... I'll take that chance.
But so far, I haven't found a photo that really convinces me to make the purchase. And it's not the photography.. it's the figure.
BUT.. I love toys and I love Yoda so I'm eagerly awaiting the photos you guys who do have the toy post. I'm done with my rant*. I'll enjoy it vicariously through the rest of you.

It's not that green in hand... I've noticed a lot of pics make him look a lot greener that what he really is...
I guess what I want is a Yoda that looks like this:

Sideshow really did a great job with him. I also found this range of neck articulation to be better than I expected with some of the reviews; mine tilts up and down and of course turns all the way around
Robe also doesn't look too thin in person like some of the photos would suggest... so all in all I'm very happy with my free RP figure
That photo is not accurate to the in hand color... he's not as light as the still (which looks pretty washed out) but not as dark as the provided pic.
Hmmmm... for $60 bucks (a few years ago) you get a mostly solid body with very limited articulation, or for $70 (non-exclusive) you get a fully articulated body, tons of hands, a log, a snake and an extra set of feet.
Medicom does get points since they come with the galactic hot dog and silver belt doo-hickey, but that's about it.
The paint on the Medicom figure is very washed out and he looks sickly and personally I think the head looks too scrawny. This Yoda might be a bit too healthy looking, but when you add up the paint work, accessories and articulation; especially looking at cost differences Sideshow wins hands down.

When it comes to in-hand color I'd say YoNoSe's pics look the closest to what I have in front of me.
Oh, I will admit that not having the top of the tray is kind of annoying. I don't mind twist-ties all that much, but having to use tape to keep the hands in place kinda sucks.

It's too bad you two are so closeminded. Not only is the actual product pic above shadowed (he's not that green in hand), but the still on the bottom is actually washed. The actual puppet wasn't that pale.

The sun was peeking in and out while I was snapping these so keep that in mind. The difference it made on the coloring is pretty dramatic. None of these were adjusted except to crop the house next door out.

Okay, 30 min till I get to go home. My wife hasn't called or e-mailed to say he has shown up yet. I hope to God that she isn't playing the old "hide the Sideshow figure" game that she like to play, cuz I really hate that!
