I don't go in the Indy section at all these days. I hope the HT Indy looks good in hand. I'm not a huge fan of PERS in general. I do like Sideshow Indy but my painting skills aren't sufficient to bring out Trev's sculpt and paying for repaint services lately is like buying an expensive lottery ticket.

Hopefully between the two we can all find our ideal Indy. Until then, I'll take this kick-ass Yoda.

I will say the chin on the proto did concern me, but in hand I think its a very nice looking Yoda sculpt. And the paint work/color works well for my vision of him.

Again, I don't think he's 100% screen accurate but it almost feels like an idealized version of Yoda... if that makes any sense.

Got him yesterday and he is SWEET! Everything on mine is fine; both eyes painted nicely, his robe not too thin. I will be making the necklace shorter though. That's it. I'm wondering if the darker wash on his face is making people think he's too dark or throwing off the look of the figure for some? I like him!

I am wondering something though, and this isn't a nit-pick, just noticed that this figure came boxed and that is it. No bubble wrap around the figure box, no tissue between the flap and the plastic box window. Are everyones like this? I wonder if SS is scaling back on packing to save costs?

Packaging wise, don't the flaps on each side usually have a different pose? On the Yoda box they are all the same photo pasted on each side. This struck me as odd for some reason. Doesn't really matter I guess.

Same here - brown-boxed over the packaging. No tissue, no bubble wrap, and the Exclusive sticker has since removed itself from the packaging.
Can't complain though. It arrived in perfect shape.

Couple of quick pics. He is nice figure. The photos do show a bit more yellow than he actualy is. Don't see a reason why anyone would pass beyond not being able to afford him.

Ok, well I got mine! My wife did indeed play "hide the Sideshow figure"! She hid it in a closet that has a wall mirror in it that she has been after me for months to hang and said it was in the last place I would look. The joke was on her though, because that was the first place I looked ;-)

Quick first impressions, i absolutely love him! He is NOT as dark green as the pic posted and commented on earlier. His color is perfect for those concerned about it. Mine has no paint issues with the eyes. I thought the sculpted hair might not turn out so great but it looks fine. Really dig the log! My only complaint, if I had to lodge one, would be that the necklace seems a tad bit long, something that is easily rememdied. Other than that, my biggest problem right now is figuring what combination of hands to display him with.

Someone else made mention about it too, but it was nice finally getting another Order of the Jedi figure.
