Awesome! I would love the see your "battle-damaged" Indy from the end of TOD! Be sure to put the wraps on his...right hand. Wasn't it his right? I think he may have used strips he cut off of his shirt on that hand.

Shouldn't be hard, I'll have the cut off sleeve. I figure if I paint the blood from the whip marks first, then cut through the shirt, make my life easier paiting the shirt.

Yeah, it even feels kinda realistic to the touch. It just hasn't photographed well (YET... I'm sure you'll make do).

Don't get me wrong, it's imperfect and needs some work but it's definitely more than passable.

I hated having doubts, but after the let down of the "leather" gear for the T-800 figure, I was reserved about Indy's jacket.

So what aren't photos capturing that's nice about it? I'm seeing good wrinkling and such from folks, hasn't looked too bad in most photos.

I just think it looks much more "plastic-like" in the pics than it actually is... if that makes any sense. It feels much more like a real leather jacket than you'd think. It's also a bit heavier than some pics suggest.

I actually found it to be opposite. It certainly looks like leather and really does look great but feels more like a brown windbreaker material. Hasbro's is the exact opposite. It looks poor but "feels" more like leather.

I have my review up...

I really like this figure, but it's not without it's faults. I have to apologize for the photos though - about half way through shooting, I managed to break his hip. I managed to get a few decent shots out, but I may update the page once I get my replacement figure.

Got mine today, the only real issues I had with it...

Shirt is horrible, I hate the button up system they tried to work... it's horrible. I will have to get the Relic Hunter shirt, liked that one much better.

The gloves and hat were horribly painted for my figure, but easily fixed.

The web belt is odd, it doesn't stay closed no matter what you do.

The neck joint was insanely loose, but some glue and that was fixed.

Overall, it is a fantastic figure. Especially after some work. And I love the body, the only issue I have with it is the huge gap between the butt and the legs on the back.

The jacket is fantastic, it can't really be weathered.. but I don't care. It's a pretty nice jacket honestly.

Actually, that may not necessarily be the case. I've already done some preliminary tests with some of my crazy weathering techniques and I think it can be done.

I think it can be weathered with dusty techniques for sure, but not sanding style like I normally do.

I'm thinking some chalk might do him good... but will have to test it.

Chalk and weathering dust are working to good effect, so far. Also, I've found that a high-grit sanding pad is producing some nice results as well. Different than the sand-paper technique we're used to, but it just might work.

Everyone's Indy seems to have different issues. Curious if anyone will get one with no issues.

So what button is missing from the shirt???

And your keeper held the whip fine without having to move the magnets?

Yeah those Tamiya weathering acrylics should do the trick.

Also might try a nail-file.

Yep, no problem with the loop holding the whip.

I had to move both magnets on my keep to allow enough room for the whip. Not a big deal, took a few seconds...but still, you now...

And what button was missing on yours -- like a faux button or the top snap? You got me looking at mine now to see if I have all the buttons. :lol

Got mine today and I have to agree this figure kicks ass!! The neck on mine is a bit loose and the shirt button up system isn't that great but those are my only issues. Looking forward to taking some shots tomorrow.
