A regular PF announcement yes. SDCC Ex. No. Look at the items since then with SW and LOTR being in the fold. No huge Ex at the show because its too much of a pain to carry it around.

Yep, he's gotta be one of the best characters created in the past thrity years. I found the pic here:

Checkout th Backlot section, there's another shot of him walking down the street.

Excellent, thanks man. Can't wait for this!! Sucks it's going to be so long in post though. That probably means tons of CGI work then if this thing is coming out a year after post. Almost worries me. But the few other shots I have seen so far have been killer!

And back to thread topic, yes PPO on Friday!!!

Watchmen is set for Mar 6, 09 release, so less than 11 months now. There is a making of video coming out each month in the meantime.

I wonder if there will be a 1/6 Indy exclusive at SDCC this year? There hasn't been a SS SDCC exclusive I've really wanted in recent years besides the Dead. Certainly there will be some announcement of new Indy stuff if not an unveiling of one or two new figs.

I'd definitely get a Connery figure... I think Sideshow would do a really kickass version of him. They are really great about sculpting older characters.

I appreciate the 1/6 figure (and all of its accessories) even more now after last night's PF announcement.

Poor unsung little Indy. :monkey2

Little Indy is still cool and comes with a ton of awesome stuff :rock

Too bad his exclusive is kinda lame. :monkey3

I think they liked how the two heads turned out for the 1/6 fig so much that they said 'hey we should do this for the PF too' without thinking it through.

I always said that I was more excited for the 1:6th than the PF. Just because you have a damn near infinite number of ways to pose him. Not to mention his accesories, which when reviewed, is simply a mind boggling amount. I mean, they mighta not included temple cobwebs, but hell, i got spiders in my backyard for a reason. There is just so much more versatility in this figure, not to mention the fact that its on a new body, that it seals the deal for me. Oh and its like $200 cheaper, did i mention that? I know some don't and won't agree and thats fine, but this has been my most desired figure since SSC started making 12in toys all those years ago. I went damn, wouldn't it be nice if someone made a high end Indiana Jones figure with a ton of poseability, detail, and accesories, and not make it impossible to get ahold of? The Indy 1/6th figure was a dream come true for me, a dream of something thats amazing to look at, but could be handled, or played with(!) if ya really wanted to. And now that this nothing short of spectacular Indy is on its way, all i can think about is how coll its going to be when i have an entire set up of 1/6th Indy figures that look remarkable and are more fun than a 10 mile waterslide.

Until I inevitable break something :lol

Am I the only one thinking of making some balsa wood crates for Indy? Hell, they can go with Lara Croft too, not like I wont be posing Indy hitting on her. :monkey3

I know. I'm as excited for this piece as anything I can really remember. I've looked at a lot of film still trying to figure out how I want to pose him.

I may not pose him until Lara ships, that way if the whip is able to pose, it's going around Lara's waist. :lol

Nice!!

I may actually go with this pose above on one and with my second go with whatever my second choice is. I'll be taking one of the hatless heads and going Dr. Jones with it.
