Getting pretty good at making 1:6 crates now, actually. In fact, I might be so inclined to make some for others if they're interested once the Sideshow Indy's start arriving.
Oooh, me, me me.

I think I finally put my finger on why I don't really like the sculpt. It's too wide. Here is a picture for comparison. If Sideshow could just find a way to squeeze the head a little, it would look better.
I know some will say that it's bad paint, but I'm not sure I believe that.
I don't see the "puffiness" in the sculpt at all. Never did. All I see is a chintzy paint job.
The raw sculpt is amazing, and once any of the painters of this board get our hands on it... it will be restored to it's former greatness... I assure you.

Awesome!
Any pics of a crate finished?.. Or were they already posted and I missed them?
For me, a $90.00 figure should not have to be repainted. That's my personal opinion on it.

I am also looking forward to some others like the Nazi dude that burned the head piece to the staff of Ra into his hand....

I'm going to sound a bit like Irish now, WHERE'S INDY??
Hehe, sorry, I shouldn't have bought the movies, then my interest to get him would be restrained, but now I'm on a big Indy kick and I'm excited to get a really nice Indy figure and have fun with it.
