12" Indy In Adventure Gear: Raiders Version Discussion Thread

I am curious what the hold-up is...is it the Prometheus?

Here's my guess.

1) Prometheus
2) First figure with 2 heads where both heads need to have the exact same paint apps, perhaps there's inconsistency, to which I'll add, please just let the hat head come out ok, the other one can be so-so, though of course the ideal is both to be really good
3) Indy's leather jacket, hopefully they're working to make it with real leather or at least some top quality pleather and not something vinyl and almost paper thin like T-800 figure

I think those could be significant factors in the time it takes to complete Indy, and I for one want all 3 to be top notch so as eager as I am to get him, I'll wait if it's for the best.

I honestly don't mind the extra time. If they can knock this out of the park, it will light a fire under the line and give them momentum. Any R&D needed to make this look as fantastic as possible, good by me.

I think that's everyone's stance, and we'd all be happy as ^^^^ if we knew for sure, but history leaves that little doubt in us, Faramir was delayed, and...

I'm going to have a lot of fun photographing with this one though, I was so inspired after finally seeing Raiders and the others this summer, but nothing to work with yet, Hasbro sucks haha.

As for Indy, if Sideshow's really trying to take steps forward with their figures, Indy should not have a vinyl, cheap feeling jacket, that'd be a big step backward. I have the SSC Angel figure with a leather coat and it's a nicer, thicker pleather material more like the ROTS Anakin tabbards, should be at least something of that quality.

I agree, no reason for a vinyl cheap looking jacket....I 'm holding on to my relic hunter jacket, just in case, although it's a tad too big.
