I agree, although I'm thinking earlier -- something to coincide with the DVD release. If nothing then, oh well.....

They didn't announce anything during the week the first new INDY movie in 19 years was being released, why would they do it for the DVD?

I still cling to a crumb of hope that TOHT will be revealed before this thing ends.

This line has really surpassed itself -they killed it with the second figure! They could have had Henry Jones Snr, Toht with Melting Head, Indy in Desert Disguise, Mola Ram, Thugee Guard, Marion in White Dress...but no, they give us Belloq in a white suit. Idiots.

Again, it's not like Sideshow is going to make an official announcement even if it was dead. We just have to guess based on the releases and announcements.

Potentially yes. In collecting, it's not always about film relevance as much as caliber of figure for your money. Yes, Belloq is important to the Indy story, but another costume of THE hero or a more interestingly outfitted villain of lesser importance could have more draw. Belloq's a guy in a suit for what, $90, Thugee's costuming could make for a cooler looking figure and leave collectors feeling more satisfied with their purchase.

My wait list converted to a order yay! :maul but.... I'm worried now I'm going to get a lazy eyed Indy at least now if I do I can send it back to sideshow for a replacement, I wish we had more pics of this figure I wonder if the headsculpt is changing after SDCC and thats the hold up or what?

And without an alternate, melting face head, will probably sell like Belloq, probably will have a 1/6 Ark with him like Belloq has the idol pedistal in that case.

Absolutely, Mola Ram offers the best looking villain figure in all of Indy.

I think I would have preferred to see Toht before Belloq.

I think Belloq is an interesting character. Someone on the same level as Indy in terms of passion and intelligence, and someone whom Indy obviously has tangled with the past. I just don't think he translates well into a collectible.

In ROTA, Belloq may be Indy's nemesis, but Toht is the true villain.

To be honest the only reason I ordered Beloq was because of the exclusive dio so eh yeah, I love the guy though its just nice to have something "extra" to come with him.

I enjoy Belloq in the story, but with all the other collectibles I want and the price of him, I have no interest in him as a figure, I've got the Ex. on order to split with another member, I really want the environment but not him. Mola Ram, Marion, alternate Indy looks, Henry Sr (for a cool Connery portrait) and Mutt are the only ones I'd probably get as is, Toht if he has the alternate head.

Same here. I only got Belloq because of the environment piece. But I would get Mola Ram, Marion, any other Indy figs, Henry Sr, and Mutt. Toht would be nice, but only if he has the melty head.

If Sideshow does Toht, melted face seems almost certain, with all their Zombie figures, it's a great exercise in sculpting like that and I'd think a lot of fun for any SSC sculptor.

what do you mean lazy eyed indy? is there a version in production that's messed up?
