This is really sad to hear that people are not happy with the Pro. Why put so much into a new body if you are just going to release something that's all loose and weak.

So far it seems most have reported this as a problem, which would be 0 for 3 on the new bodies having tight joints. I really hope Sideshow addresses this with future releases.

Well, with all 3 bodies, it sounds like the technical aspect is amazing, in terms of range and all, but the construction of the design is flaw. My impression is that if the joints were tighter and held their position like a True Type, it might even get more praise than a True Type. That's the sad part of it, they're so close, you hope it'll get better. That's why I'm saying I'll be more concerned after a few figures on each body, now that SSC has heard our issues with the bodies so far, but at the moment, the concerns I have with their 3 new bodies are lesser on the Buck, so if it becomes a consistent issue, it will factor into my buying.

Well, the body does have a great range of poseability, and it's quite the improvement on that department, I've been "playing" around with it a bit, and it does accomplish a good range of movement and poses.
But, every time you change the pose, the head tends to tilt forward, and the legs are pretty loose, I don't know how else to describe it...

I just noticed one other thing, I don't know if it's just mine
but for some stupid reason, it comes with 2 bare left-hand fists and one right-hand fist,
shouldn't if have one left relaxed hand at least?

I don't have mine yet but from some of the pictures I have seen from this forum as well as those who are selling parts on ebay, it looks like you should have two closed fists (left and right) and a rt "gun hand" and a lt slightly open hand (probably to hold the neck of the sand bag). I believe that the bare hands mirror the gloved hands. I hope this helps. Here's a link to ebay that has a photo of the hands. Indy Hands.

Thanks a lot,
yep, seems like I'm missing the left openi-grip hand,
I already e-mailed Sideshow, we'll se what happens!

This is disappointing...I was really rooting for Sideshow to hit a home run with the Prometheus! But a body no matter HOW MANY JOINTS you have is only as good as the quality of it (in this case...the tightness of the joints).

I am extremely considered for figures like Snake-Eyes who you might not be able to remove from his suit.

Sideshow, please take some lessons from Hot Toys and ask their advice on how to manufacture a body with tight joints.

I'm really hoping this looks better in hand. So far I'm kind of disappointed based on initial pics. That and the body being loose make me nervous. For $90, I somehow expect more.

Nobody is a bigger Indy fan than I am and I have waited for this figure forever but I am not encouraged by what I am seeing and hearing especially after numerous production delays. I bought a regular and ex and I am still holding out hope that it will live up to expectations. Very bad news about the loose joints. I wanted this to be the centerpiece of my collection.

Okay, screwed with the figure for about an hour now and I am pretty happy with it over all. Accessories are great, costume is good, and both heads are top notch. The shirt material is pretty thin, which is good imo because it responds really well to water treatment. The hands dont seem oversized to me, some pictures have made them look HUGE, but I dont think thats the case. Over all a very solid figure!

The body however is the killer :(

3 words: loose, loose, loose

Articulation is great, 10 times better than the buck, shoulders aren't as sloped as some pix have made them look. The costume fits very natural on the body, much much better than on a buck. Anatomically looks very accurate to a normal human male. Hot Toys shoulders are too broad and I think they are better with the pro. I honestly think it is on par with the HT body, but its just too loose. If corrected for future figures I think the new body is a homerun.

Received Quantum View tonight and it says delivery expected 11-25. What's weird is they said the regular wasn't due to be shipping until next Wednesday at the earliest. Called and spoke with Lisa who said mine is shipping out tonight but my order is for the regular. She can't understand what's happened and is going to call me back. Maybe I got upgraded to exclusive? Not sure but hopefully my Indy is on it's way:banana:banana

I'm more bothered by the shoulders than the loose joints...
I personally think it looks a bit out of proportion... maybe I'm used to the Buck and TT...

Lisa called me back and mine was pulled and processed tonight:D. Apparently Kathy lied when I spoke to her and they do have the regulars in the warehouse but weren't processing them until the exclusives all shipped. Don't know what happened, but either way I'm happy and will have him on the 25th:chew:chew

Man, that is a real bummer about the body. Can't believe Sideshow would drop the ball like this. Although, still cool to hear the rest of the figure is solid.
