It's also easier to find screen-accurate clothing and accessories for that one, too.

Definitely true. I wasn't 100% sure if was gonna bother doing a 2nd figure... but that sculpt is so nice looking it would seem a shame to keep it boxed-up.

But, wasn't there that whole walkie-talkie debacle in the re-release of E.T.? Is it just Indy that is sacred to him?

Yeah, I think Speilberg caught enough flak for that so he's not quite as eager to muck with his other films :)

Finally pre-authed :rock

If he goes out today, there's a CHANCE I'll get him before the holiday. Usually, UPS shipments for me from SSC take 6 days, so it'd get here next Wednesday, if it ships today and on time I'll have him, if not today it'll be after the break or if he takes more than 6 days. Please ship, please ship :)

Quality you won't beat the PF, but will you enjoy an Indy that's stuck in the one pose forever or would you rather a poseable piece that you can change when you like.

i know, but i need to also add... is king's 12" a custom body? it looks pretty good proportion wise.

I've got it comging through Netflix... looks hilarious, and possibly the best out of the 3 :rock

Glad to hear you liked it.

Obviously, there are some films that Spielberg will tinker with (E.T., Close Encounters). But there are others that he apparently does view as untouchable: Jaws, Raiders, Schindler's List, etc.

That said, even when he does add or change stuff to his films he has always made the original Theatrical Cut available as well (unlike his fellow bearded counterpart).

Give it time....:rotfl

Got mine today. Head and waist loose. Hardest part was deciding how to pose and with what. I put the extra hs on the Giles suit-changed out the shirt. Looks good but not yet complete. I used a SS boby wth a ball and socket post. Sorry no pics yet as I'm watching Raiders right now wiht the kids.

Post pictures when you can dwing of your custom Professor Jones in the Giles suit. I want to use the Giles suit too, and I'd like to see how it looks. I really need to find a 1:6 scale bowtie. I saw in Raiders he wears a bowtie, and not a long necktie with his suit.

Anyone seen a 1:6 scale bowtie online anywhere? Let me know. Thanks!

Okay. I guess he wears both then. I have two huge books about the films I'll go back and look at, and the DVDs of course too. I did remember he wore a bowtie when talking to the agents with Marcus about the power of the ark, and using the chalkboard.
