I'm pretty sure the Jango helmet is solid... either that or real thick plastic. It doesn't give when you squeeze the sides together.

Irish, which trick did you use to darken the eyes? And are they solid black now?

Same as Andy and others... I got a black Micron Pigma Archival pen (size 005) and then carefully colored the browns of the eyes (except for the white parts). The tip of the pen is so fine that it's easy to do this as long as you're patient.

You can find these pens at basically any hobby or crafts store (Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Jo-Ann's, etc) for $2-3.

Trust me, it's one of the easiest (and best) upgrades you can make to any of these figures.

I was thinking about this helmet problem. If,indeed,it is hollow inside, does anybody have any of the severed head exclusives, like Vlad the impaler,Pam Vorhees,Blackbeard??Why not put one of those inside, purely as a temporary measure of course.

If these are too big I'm sure an ART S. Buck head would fit perfectly. No hair sculpt to worry about.

I haven't seen it in person, but I figure it isn't squeezeable because the bottom is covered. Is it heavy?

Yeah its a pretty heavy chunk of plastic... I'm 99% sure its a solid hunk, but I'm not going to dissect it to find out :lol

I got my Mace Windu figure yesterday. In hand, I really like the head sculpt. It could be a bit better but fills my need for a Mace Windu figure. The paint looks fine on mine.
The costume on mine was completely wrinkled so I tried Ironing them out with great results. Looks fantastic now. I managed to lose that severed hand accessory. I've been looking everywhere with no luck, I never even got a chance to try it out on the figure.
Having the two ignited an unignited swords is great! I have mine posed wielding both.
The Jango Fett helmet looks okay. The place where the range finder is glued to the helmet looks like it was glued off center and the helmet appears to me to be a tad oversized. I hope Sideshow improves the design for their Jango/Boba Fett figures.
Overall, a great figure. Now bring on Obi-Wan and Gui-Gon!

I received my waitlisted exclusive Mace today. Love the figure and the sideshow giftcard. Thanks Sideshow!!! :chew

I think the part above the visor on Jango's helet is too narrow and long. From the side it looks good, but from the front...

Man oh man what a Friday, got Obi, Mace, and Qui-Gon...poor camera.

I'm really happy with Mace, but he's no Qui-Gon.

As always more pics at the shack.

...i so dig this figure...i waffle between him and obi-wan as my favorite...today it's mace.

I get to see my Mace figure next week when I go back home--Yey!

Then I'll take pictures, unforunately I can return to college with only one figure so I'm going to bring back Kit Fisto.

I got Mace yesterday along with Qui Gon. They are both great, so much better in person than in pics! The additional lightsaber is a good choice for an accessory too, imo. I've got him posed sans robe and stroking his chin.

I really can;t get over how much I'm really loving these! Can't wait for Obi and Luke now!!!

Got Mace and Obi this week end, but have only had time to unpack Mace.
In short, Mace is SST's best figure to date!
The HS is awesome (maybe not an exact likeness, but the attitude is there), the clothing fits really well, paint apps are pretty much perfect.
I'm extremely happy with Mace and can't wait to open Obi Wan now.

That'll be one heck of a day to get 3 Sideshow figures! I think you'll enjoy them, it seems that with each release the figures are getting better and better! Enjoy!
