oh they had some pretty sweet and crazy stuff there. One hand gun I assume was a .45, had at least a foot long barrel on it and a scope. Biggest hand gun I had ever seen. They also had these tiny little guns that had laser sights on them.

Yeah some of his guns are pretty cool IMO, but I like to frequently shoot the ones I buy so I don't see myself buying a lot of those crazy ones. I did just order my first revolver. It's on backorder so it'll be a while before I get it in from the manufacturer.

its all over the internet how to make any kind of bomb, you just have to look. Hell for a while Amazon was selling a how to book about it.

And no, I don't see gun ownership as a clear and present danger. You are letting your beliefs cloud your objectivity. Plenty of statistics have been shared here to show that less gun control has decreased gun violence. I just showed you how much more damage can be done, faster and cheaper, with out a gun, yet you continue to be skeptical of it. You want to believe what you believe no matter what the facts are.

I'm sorry you feel that way brother,i'm only putting a point forward that lack of guns makes you safer from a brits point of view.

London where i am is a dangerous place, the riots the world saw last year speak for themselves. Now imagine all the rioter had guns!

seriously the army would to have come in...i can't even comprehend the slaughter that would have ensued.

that said i'll let you u.s. freaks carry on with the debate as its not really my place to comment.

speaking of which, i believe silk road branched out to arms trade now. silk road for mind altering substance trade and the spin off the armory for guns and ammo. some of them pass customs too. :horror

I'm sure they've been doing that for years.

Again these people go home and come back with a weapon. They usually aren't just willy nilly at work and go crazy. They go home plan their attack and act. No guns they plan accordingly. You are from Canada. From what I gather Canadians have not a flipping clue how anything really works here. But they sure do like to comment on it and make silly assumptions. I'll be the first person to admit I don't know what the ____ happens up there. I will never presume to either. :lol

No, you certainly don't... but people are entitled to their own opinion even if they do reside outside of the US. I'm sure that there were many people outside of Norway who felt strongly about the massacre that happened there. It's beyond a gun issue-- It's the state of our world when these horrific moments of senseless violence on a large scale seem to happen rapidly one after another.

Probably already posted but , look at this MOTHERF&%$ER

6,000 rounds of ammunition was minimum $2000+

so his weapons alone were around $5000 and his ballistic gear was estimated between $10,000-$12,000

definitely not cheap, or easy to acquire by the every day man.

Don't know where he bought his ammo, but it isn't that expensive. I can order 1,000 rounds of the cheap ammo for the AR15 for less than $250. I personally just ordered 1,000 rounds of 9mm ammo for the same price. You can find the tactical gear cheap if you search around for it.

~~Ninja Edit. If he was really trying to plan all this out without having any kind of paper trail he could've just bought all the supplies necessary for reloading ammo at a gun show with cash and put everything together in his apartment.

A hand gun is going to be my next purchase. I have always had a love of guns since my grandfather took me to the shooting range when I was about 8. Never actually owned a gun or had one in my house until today. Now I can't wait to get out on the range.

you are absolutely entitled to your point of view, however facts have been shown to dispute that point of view.

wait, there are killings outside of the wild wild US?

:rock Post it in the Gun Collector's thread.

Ok, so I was off by $500 on the ammo, I just estimated what the hundred rounds I bought today would add up to if it were 6,000. Still the point is it was not a cheap endeavor.

you know a lot of murders? Your not prone to exaggeration by any chance are you?
No, but I know a lot of redneck morons who, if pissed off by a stranger in public and had a gun at their side..would most likely shoot them.

Those guys were going to massacre everyone there? This video seems more like how to start a massacre rather than how to stop one. :rotfl

you oviously did not pay attention or understand the video :cuckoo:

so your using your skills of precognition of events that could possible happen if people who currently don't own guns, but could legally if they wanted to, had guns, to back up your opinions about gun control :cuckoo:

I'm sure they've been doing that for years.
not really, try last year 2011. possible 2-5 years on beta phase give or take.

its all about bitcoins now. :monkey3

*although silk road is ebay for drugs, the armory is guns and ammo.

wait, there are killings outside of the wild wild US?

Absolutely... Just last week my bud Larry got killed by a moose trap, eh. Wait, that isn't the same thing, right?

Seriously, there are serial killers, rapists, homicidal lunatics all over the world-- but the media today plays up these moments and honestly it feels like every few months we should expect to hear about another cracked egg that took far too many innocents rather than not being a coward and just taking their own pathetic existence.
