I said that,yes God has been taken out of the schools (which is true)

And in regards to prayer,would it have prevented this tragic event? I don't know that for certain if it would or would not have,but there are people insulting believers who believe in prayer....God does answer prayer.I have personally seen/experienced this in my own personal family life..

I still don't understand why you said If praying stops God can and will intervene and all Hell will break loose. That pretty much is saying that if someone isn't praying then their life has a good chance of being ****ed? I just don't see how anyone can say God who is supposed to forgive everyone will just come down and allow mass murders rapes molestation etc.

I just feel so sad for those parents. So sad, my heart breaks for them. They really do not need to hear all this "prayer" crap. I mean seriously I really hope none of the victims' families have to deal with any of this crap. Facebook is getting filled with all these prayer posts, I am seeing a lot of that. I don't know, but I bet those teachers were praying bro. I am sure the adults were praying. maybe some of the older kids too.

Let's just leave it at this and be done with it. For a believer like yourself, the Bible is full of moral ways to live. For those who aren't necessarily religious (or they simply don't trust in the Bible), it's... well, very questionable to say the least. Like you said, these things are viewed differently depending on who you are. But that's a can of worms that shouldn't even begin to be opened on a toy forum.

It's enough of a stretch that we're discussing such a dangerous and sensationalized topic like this here. It didn't take more than a few posts to get sidetracked.

When you said intervene you meant he would intervene in a bad way. Did you not say All hell would break loose? And I have read the bible. Believe me I understand God. Going to Catholic school since 1st grade you are hit hard with religion, but seriously why is this even up for debate? The fact of the matter is Kids and adults lost their lives way too early. Nothing we say or do can change that.

Totally agree. I won't talk to my kids about God or religion until they're old enough to think for themself without being brainwashed. I don't want them to have any part of it in school either.
