Dont be afraid after stuff like this happens people stay on High alert. Look what happened after the aurora massacre. I feel kinda strange that we had two massacres this year.

Devilof76 can attest to this, but I posted on FB prior to these Morgan Freeman posts, that the focus should be put on the victims, not the shooter. He simply doesn't deserve our attention.

The same goes for teemu. Guys like him are seeking attention when making comments like that, waiting with bated breath for someone to acknowledge him at any level. Take that away from him. Lets not flip out. Lets grieve for the families who lost children in this or hug a child that's in our family. Put the energy to good use. Flipping out and cursing guys in a forum, we're better than that.

I just ignore people who try to make this all about themselves and focus it on those who deserve it.

Anyway, back on topic. I just found out that one of the girls who was shot came from my city. Her dad moved her and the rest of the family from Winnipeg to CT 2 months ago. How could he have known.... I hope he doesn't blame himself.

Freeman's bit about treating the shooters as celebrities instantly reminded me of Natural Born Killers. Sadly, I feel like if more people today saw the film, they wouldn't get the right message.
