That's another thing I vividly remember that, after stating he was afraid he just JUMPS right into the steel.

As a kid that always made me scratch my head. The whole "cannot self-terminate" line was missing completely. I'm glad they dropped that idea during filming. Almost every source other than the film had the T-800 just walking off the catwalk into the steel below.

And yeah, he does say that the data could be called PAIN, but does that mean he feels or understands it? I guess he might have an idea or a sense when he asks John if "pain causes it". The pain sensory might just mean that he should heal the wounds up or repair the damage to the endoskeleton.

I think it's an effort to try relate his programming to human emotions/feelings. Understanding first comes through relating.

Depends what they were made of. I am sure the machines were intelligent enough so that wouldn't be necessary.

I'd love to see a BD PF, Sideshow favors the clean look too much, 2 polystone statues (counting the recently teased one) and the PF all clean T-800 from T2, they've only done BD for busts but it's such a cool luck, and with P1, it'd be easier to mass produce cheaply for a statue, I can sort of understand with T2 becaue of the severed arm but T1, it's just reveal, no ripped off parts.

I disagree. I think both are equally iconic.

It's iconic, no doubt, but I think it's equally as iconic as when he pulls the 45 on Sarah in the club. For some reason when I think about T1, that's the vision of the T-800 that comes to mind more than the police station shootout.

While police station is more iconic, mainly because the scene was more memorable for me but I want them to go with the tech noir. I could see sideshow going this way because they usually to the way most people don't think they would. Of course people will complain regardless.
