We are looking at the Droids for possible inclusion in one of our lines, beyond Life-Size. We’re not ready to make promises, but it is something we’re looking at. Star Wars 12-inch in 2009 is definitely more focused on the armored side of Star Wars.

Should be a very interesting year for this line. Hopefully troops like Cody and other ROTS commaners mix in with the standard armor troops to add a little extra flavor.

I think a bike is possible - honestly, I don't really see the purpose of having the Scout without the bike.

Also Boba and Jango would fit under armored, I think.

I have the Hasbro bikes & I can live with them, if they did make them I just ask that they be a separate purchase or else I'd be forced to pass by default despite it being my fav trooper
My biggest hope is that they just get the helmet shapes right, they are the deal breakers for me.

Of the OT, Biker Scout is the only Trooper they haven't made yet that I'm really hoping for. TIE Pilots and Imperial Gunners are cool but not high on my list, but I always liked the Biker Scout. Give me that and Cody and I'll be happy.

I agree. The bikes need to be separate just like Jabba and the throne were separate.

I think Jango & Boba would be cool, I have the Medicom versions but they lack the weight & feel of the armour (look like teenagers at a fancy dress party ) and SSC could really blow them away if Obiclone is anything to go by

I look forward to Sideshow doing Jango more than Boba. Medicom did Boba nicely enough I can be patient, but I found their Jango lacking in a few ways, love the character look, and hope to see a figure that nicely represents him. I just hope, like 1/6 Vader, the helmets are done correctly, I know some people live with the off shape but it nags me to no end when pieces get it off, the right shape is burnt in my mind and a big reason I like the Fett helmet design and when it's off, it looks like something else and I'm just not a fan.

I'm hoping for Boba and Jango, otherwise I was afraid SS was going to pull a Hasbro on us and just deliver repaint after repaint for stormtroopers and clonetroopers.

Kewl. I'm just after standard troops like Biker Scouts, Snow Troopers ect. Don't care about Commander Cody type figures.

Me either, I think we will see either Jango or Boba, and probably the Biker scout and snow trooper.

The Hasbro bike is really nice and good enough straight out of the box. It can be superdetailed if needed. I would pass on one from Sideshow.

I would be down for any movie troopers (clone, biker, snow, etc.) no EU stuff please. Also I don't consider the Tartatovsky stuff EU, those would be cool too. And Dave I would argue a Biker Scout would be cool without the bike (even though he wears a diaper).

Bike.. no Bike. I really don't care but I think this year will see mostly things from ESB. I'd like to see a good Hoth or Bespin Leia and then just make Lando. But in reality I believe we will see the EpIII Shock Troopers, probably a few Ep II Clones, Snowtrooper, and like I said, a damn Biker Scout. Maybe then the Endor Troops will sell.

I like the armored characters but I'm sticking mainly to main characters. I'll buy one of each Clone, but the enthusiasm isn't as strong for me as seeing amazing sculpts of my favorite characters in film history. I really hope they mix up characters like Dooku, Lando, Tarkin etc. with the armored characters or the line will get boring fast for me.
