Man why are the English down about this? We drew we did not lose.
Apart from the disastrous goalkeeping error England played really well, and the Americans defended really well.
The USA Goalkeeper was especially good and Rob Green pulled off a great save to make up for his error. Talking of the error, better to do that now than do it during the knock out stage.
Oh and if you think USA sucks and we should have beaten them, I will remind you that Italy drew 1-1 with them in the group stages of 2006, and went on to win. So cheer up England

Didn't watch the whole game because it started at around 4am here, but I did wake up and watch the second half, and from what what I saw, England weren't that great. Besides Lennon beating the full back and putting in some crosses, there wasn't much going for them. How are you guys gonna win the World Cup if you can't beat the USA?
As for Green's howler, I'm guessing the ball had much to do with it. There's been heaps of discussion about how it's "unpredictable" and many players have been complaining about it. But then again, it was coming straight at him and he should've had time to adjust himself.
