That game sucked!!! Just poor officiating. Can't help but feel that there was an anti-US bias there. I would like to hear what the refs reasoning was in making that call. That is the most ridiculous call I have ever seen in a major futball tournament.

well that was the only really bad decision. ref had a pretty good game besides that one MAJOR call. but that's the game i guess.

WRONG! The ref called a handball on the USA whenthe ball clearly hit the guy in the face...he even gave the guy a yellow card.

yeah that was pretty consistently bad. one or two really bad decisions, but nothing as immediately apparent as this disallowed goal. if USA don't go through because of this, it's a traversty.

The Ref's decision was made because of the pulling and shoving in the penalty area, problem was when they played it back, it was only the Slovenians who were doing the pulling and shoving.
The Ref should have either given a penalty or allowed the goal.

I watch football all season, both Premiership and La Liga, and this kind of thing happens all the time I am afraid. It's why people still argue if Refs should make decisions after they have viewed Video replays

This is being talked about all over the Sports world now.

Fifa will have to respond, the only thing they can say it will be reviewed then admit it was a bad call. But NO ONE still knows what the call was.

Such a shame as the US just lost 2 points.

This shouldnt happen at the WC level. Players,coaches and so on work very hard to get here and a first time ref may have blow all there hard work on a terrible call.

England had a completely valid Goal disallowed in the world cup 8 years ago against Brazil, we had Rooney sent off thanks to Ronaldo's cheating 4 years ago, and of course there was the "hand of God".
I guess we are used to bad decisions by Refs

yep. it's a really sad and unfortunate thing, but it does happen more than you'd expect at this level. just as players can make mistakes, so can refs. i guess they're human as well. it does feel like a punch in the gut when it happens to the team your rooting for though.
