God, I hate that THE Ohio State University crap. So ____ing stupid. Last I checked their not the only school in Ohio and their name is Ohio State University.

Their official name is THE Ohio State University.....and I agree, it's stupid, lol.

Michigan, Texas, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State and THE Ohio State University only teams with 800+ wins. Overrated doubtful, perhaps over exposed to some but I enjoy it.

Haters sound like someone left a poo poo in their Wheaties.

And which of those teams has been relevant over the past 10 years? Texas is 1-0 in National Championship games and tOSU is 1-2.

But it was nice of you to play the "most wins since Moses parted the Red Sea" card.

All six teams played against Paul, John, Matthew etc. They performed well enough to earn eternal appreciation (800+ wins). I guess that is one way to look at it......

You proved my point. Ohio State continues to be relevant of the teams mentioned therefore, I disagree with 'overrated' tag. Winning 800+ games shows stability over a long period not a small stretch.

You want recent history, Ohio State played in a BCS Bowl every year since 2005 against: Notre Dame, Florida, LSU, Texas and Oregon. Ohio State is competing for their sixth straight BCS Bowl. Pretty impressive stability over the past 5 - 6 yrs which none of our recent opponents can claim. Our record is 2 - 3 with two National Title and a Rose Bowl appearance. I'll take it better than 95% of the other teams.

If a losing record = relevancy, then I'll give you that.

Will they finally manage to beat an SEC team in a bowl game this year? Or will they become 0-10 vs the SEC in bowl games?

Not that this completely excuses Michigan's performance today, but Miss. State has been moving in the right direction recently. I would call them a very solid team. If only they were willing to pay Cam Newton what Auburn was. . .
