Well, that slightly increases the chance we won't get a Hawaii/Georgia-style embarrassment in the national title game. TCU should intentionally lose today so they could pretty much guarantee that only the big boys will be in the championship game.

God I hope SC beats Auburn. That'll F up the BCS beyond belief. With Oregon's big rivalry next week they aren't locked either. If both teams lose and with the Boise loss there's no way TCU isn't getting in but you can't put LSU in there because they didn't even play for the SEC championship. This could end up really interesting or really boring come year end.

If that happens it will be TCU against either Auburn or Oregon I think. The problem is you cant move take LSU over Auburn , you take Stanford over Orergon, so unless you go all the way down to top Big 10 team you have to take one of the two teams who just lost.

TCU by far is in the best position to make National Championship, they have one game left against a team with what 1 win.

I can say that I LOVED watching Boise go down last night. Now they know how the big schools feel when they have to play Boise. It much easier to get up huge for a team your not supposed to beat but you know you can beat then to get up to play a team that your supposed to beat but can still beat you.

The other part i never got during that game is why did they keep saying BSU and TCU were both looking for Rose Bowl berths. The Rose Bowl typically will take a Pac-10 team to play if they can and Stanford is sitting there at 6 with one lose I figured it was no brainier they would be in rose bowl.

Boise lost to a good Nevada team. They where ranked 19th coming in. Would have loved to see them and TCU both run the table. Ah well that's why you play the game. I'll be rooting for TCU and Oregon from here on out. Well, outside of MU.

That changed this year. If one of the automatic Rose Bowl tie-ins (Big 10 or PAC 10 Champs) is in the BCS Championship Game, then the Rose Bowl has to take the top non-AQ school if one is in the BCS Top 14.

So as it stands with one week left:

BCS Championship: Oregon vs Auburn
Rose Bowl: Wisconsin vs TCU
Sugar Bowl: tOSU vs Arkansas
Fiesta and Orange are still up for grabs depending on Championship weekend.

LSU pissed me off to no end yesterday. With 6 secs left in the half, how in the hell do you NOT play prevent defense? Looks like LSU vs Michigan St in the Capital One Bowl.

Ohh thats crap, I dont see why they can't chose who they want. I think they should give the BCS teh finger again and go back to being its own deal like they did in the beginning.

Proud alumni of THE Ohio State University in da house :wave

Michigan, Texas, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State and THE Ohio State University only teams with 800+ wins. Overrated doubtful, perhaps over exposed to some but I enjoy it.

Haters sound like someone left a poo poo in their Wheaties. :monkey3
