I think that's the first time they've let things wind down and then start up with a semi new threat. I guess it's smart because it got kind of stupid last season.

Jack's a little TOO hard, and not really for good reason. They were steering him towards a softer, gentler Jack, but now he's almost sociopathic.

And I'm glad Tony Todd is going to have more to do! I was wondering why he wasn't in it at all, but now he's going to be the main villain it seems!

Paging Enterbay....

Yes, I loved ep 10, still, something worries me! End of a threat leads to new threats! I know 24 works that way, but I wouldn't like it to look like season 4 with it's succession of threats. In the end, there were so many that the terrorists looked like a stupid, disorganized bunch! Too many threats kills the suspense!

Man, I love Renee more and more!! :D

So we won't see Audrey again, I'm guessing -- that was a good loose end?

I thought last nights episodes were excellent. Very intense.

General Juma is one bad Mother ******

So the Pres doesn't have any way of communicating from inside the safe room, really? Not even an emergency backup?

:sick

They were jamming all communications - and had cut the phone lines, but they should have made a point of that in the safe room.

I have to agree - that 2 hours was some of the best 24 this season.

I think Bower actually said to the president "They are jamming all signals. They've completely cut us off"

In any case, it was definately a great 2 hours of television! I love how now that the senator is in the middle of the terrorist activity he might just be re-thinking his stance on Jack's tactics.

I really thought someone was going to bite it last night and judging by next weeks preview it looks like someone will. :angelsmil

Yeah me to, especially since the terrorists were mowing down everyone they came in contact with up until Bill!

Yeah seems unlikely that they would kill a speech writer and take a guy hostage that's got the balls to run with the presidents tracker!

"Hmm...kill that helpless speech writer...but take that possible anti-terrorist super agent as a hostage." lol

Yeah some great tv logic right there! :lol And to add, last night episodes were great they did have some "oh come on" moments.

Bauer did in fact say that, but really; I didn't find the whole "they are jamming us" thing too believable - not that much of 24 is. After all, the video feed was still ok. :duh

Yeah there are a lot of "unbelievable" things on 24. Still though, the show is worth the suspension of disbelief! Only thing that validated the "they are jamming us" scenerio was the fact that John Voit's character had apparently supplied them with the schematics of the safe room and safe room tech. SO, it is at least conceivable that they would know how to knock out communications to the outside. Although...they didnt know there were cameras?
