It kind of sounds like the Jericho missile from Iron Man, they set up all those targets, "a weapon you only need to fire once" and it hits all the targets.

I'm curious what Jon Voight's endgame is. It doesn't make sense for him to give Juma information in exchange for weapons, only to attack the United States, right after Juma attacked the U.S. He must be rich, he's obviously got a lot of power, what more could he want??

I hope it's not the silly "I'm going to attack the United States, and make it look like the US' enemies did it, the US will retaliate, and I will profit/the US military-industrial complex will be stronger/be a patriot" angle. Isn't that what the Bluetooth mafia and Jack's dad were trying to do last season?? Could Jon Voight be working with Jack's dad?? We never saw him die right??

Best part of the Episode is when the head of FBI put his hand against Jack's chest and was telling Jack that if he did anything stupid during the investigation it was OVER. Jack looks down at the guys hand, looks back up at him with a "are you freakin SERIOUS?" look on his face and the FBI guy quickly removes his hand. Total realization that Jack could obliterate him without a second thought. :rock:rock:rock

Yeah I loved that part as well! :D Good stuff last night and it was a bummer Bill had to bite it. :monkey2 Also and it's one thing that I hate is when the hero gets framed, always gets to me, like he'll be seen in a different lite now. But it makes sense like Jack said, keeps the feds occupied why the baddies continue the mayhem. But hopefully Jack can operate on his own (with Chloe's help) and handle things the old fashioned way!

Not a bad episode - it was too bad about Bill. But haven't we seen the "Jack on the run" gag already this season?

what im sick of is them putting jack in handcuffs freaking 10 times an episode. I mean seriously he does something, gets put in handcuffs, hes released and put in handcuffs, released, saves someone's life, hes put in handcuffs over and over, its so old. The formula of writing the show is starting to get old.

As soon as the episode ended I was asking my wife to remind me whether or not we saw Jack's dad die. It's been too long and I can't remember...

I don't think so. I think he was on the oil rig when it blew up, but we never saw I body. I want to say Jack shot him, but like in the shoulder/non-serious chest area. So it is possible he is still alive. Heck, Tony is and his death was more certain. If Bill comes back, the show will have lost all realism :lol

Another twist could be that Jack's dad wasn't really Jack's dead. Donald Sutherland is an actor afterall and who better to be Jack's real dad than Jack's real dad? I know they were trying for him last season, but he had a "scheduel conflict" or something.

Yes!
Actually that's probably the part of the episode I liked less! Almost too far fetched and predictable!

I really hope now they're not going to bring back Jack's father because the season's been so good so far that we don't need anything to ruin it!

It's an interesting theory, but I'd say it's unlikely. She only does cameos and I don't see her getting back full time in 24! Especially since, unless there's a drastic change, we only have one season of 24 left. Though a greater role in the movie that's supposed to follow as closure is definitely something to consider!

... I can picture the end! Jack killed by Kim, and agonizing! And suddenly, from nowhere, the cougar jumps on Kim and devours her!!!! :D

Ooo. Kim as the bad guy. That would be an interesting twist. I could handle her coming back for that, but nothing else unless it leads to her death. Would/could Jack kill Kim to save the country? Now that would be an episode!

Have to bump this thread for another great episode. That's 3 in a row that had me on the edge of my seat. A great "WTF?!" moment too.

I just wished they hadn't killed Quinn - he would have made a great continuing villain. I don't think we've ever seen someone come that close to defeating Jack.

Three in a row?
Well, I think the series pretty good so far in general. Sure, a few rehash here and there, a few obvious plot twists, but good overall. The only thing that annoys me is that it's starting to look more and more like season 4 when the succession of threats was so numerous that it discredited the importance of the menace. It's a bit the same here. I prefered it when in the first two seasons they divided a season in two parts rather than what they do now. A new plot every 4 episodes or so...

I still can't shake this feeling that Tony is going to turn on Jack. Like, when Jack asked Tony to meet him, Tony said "Jack, wait. . ." like he had something important to say. Maybe Tony's ultimate loyalty lies with Starkwood??

SPOILER: Ausiello just anounced there'll be at least a second major death this season. We already know of one, so could it be Tony? I hope not! I hope they didn't bring him back just to kill him again! Let's kill Kim!!!!! :D

Yeah I got that same feeling... :monkey2
